Grizzlies GM Chris Wallace said Memphis needs "a top-10 offense" to match their vaunted defense. Wallace expects coach Dave Joerger to maintain "a tremendous emphasis on the defensive end," while improving upon last season's 18th-ranked offensive efficiency (101.7 points per 100 possessions). Marc Gasol also said that Joerger is looking to increase the tempo offensively this year, which would only help the fantasy value of Gasol, Mike Conley, Zach Randolph, et al.

The Grizzlies interviewed Bulls assistant Ed Pinckney on Thursday. The Grizzlies are still expected to bring on their top assistant Dave Joerger and Alvin Gentry is also in the mix. Although, the only thing that's clear is that Lionel HOllins won't be back with the team.

Mike Conley said he plans to work on isolation moves this offseason. "At the end of games, if I have the ball in my hand a lot, I need to get better," Conley admitted. The point guard is coming off a season that saw him set a career-high in points (14.6) and 3-pointers made per game (1.3). It led to a top-20 fantasy campaign, but his relative value going forward is deflated some by the incredible depth at point guard.

Mike Conley is expected to be invited to Team USA mini-camp, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Stein also notes that Conley and Marc Gasol are the only two players viewed as untouchable since Robert Pera took ownership of the team, and that makes sense given what's been reported previously. We wouldn't argue with that stance, but the Grizzlies will explore all avenues in an effort to improve their team. Conley also said he'd go to bat for the team to keep Lionel Hollins as coach.

Mike Conley shot 7-of-21 from the field for 24 points with three boards, five assists, four steals, four 3-pointers and one turnover in 49 minutes during Game 4's victory over the Thunder on Monday. His offense has really taken off throughout the year. It all started back in October when Conley hit 2.0 triples per game on 70 percent shooting from downtown in the preseason and it has carried over since. He's active on both ends of the floor and he'll be off the board in the first 20 picks of fantasy drafts next year.

Mike Conley hit 11-of-22 shots and two 3-pointers for 26 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and a steal, just missing a triple-double in Tuesday's Game 2 win over the Thunder in OKC. Conley was fantastic tonight and clearly enjoys not having to deal with Russell Westbrook in this series. Marc Gasol came through with 24 points, five boards, five assists, two steals and a block, Zach Randolph added 15 points and eight boards, while Tony Allen had 12 points, seven rebounds and four steals, despite shooting just 4-of-12 on the night. Game 3 is in Memphis on Saturday, where the Grizzlies will try to hold their newfound home-court advantage.

Mike Conley shot 5-of-15 from the field for 13 points with five boards, three assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes during Game 1's loss to the Thunder. He didn't shoot the ball well against the Clippers in the first round, making just 40.8 percent from the field. Conley has never been much of an efficient shooter, but he was terrific after the All-Star break with field goal shooting of 46.0 percent. He should have better luck against Reggie Jackson and Derek Fisher in the rest of this series.

Mike Conley scored a career playoff-best 28 points in Monday's Game 2 loss to the Clippers, hitting 9-of-18 shots (1-of-5 3PTs, 9-of-13 FTs) with three rebounds, nine assists and two steals. Conley and Tony Allen played about as well as they could against CP3 and Co., but once you got beyond Marc Gasol (17 points, seven boards, one steal, three blocks) and Zach Randolph (13 and eight with two steals) the Grizzlies just didn't have the firepower to keep up with a hot Clippers squad.

Mike Conley had a strong second half in a 112-91 loss to the Clippers on Saturday, finishing with 12 points, one board, five assists, two steals and two turnovers. His fantasy owners will tell you how great Conley was in the second half and he put up first-round value in that span. Conley missed all three of his 3-point attempts and the Clippers having the best defensive efficiency against opposing backcourts is going to make it tough on Conley in this series.

Mike Conley scored six points on 3-of-8 shooting with four rebounds, three assists and one steal, as he and his starting teammates were all benched in Monday's win over the Mavs. The Grizzlies still have a shot at enhancing their playoff seeding so hopefully their guys will play in the finale, but we might have also gotten a preview of things to come with tonight's deployment. Marc Gasol scored six points with seven rebounds, six assists and a block, and Zach Randolph had nine points and seven boards in the win. No starter logged more than 24 minutes.
