Mike Conley (ankle sprain) has been upgraded to day-to-day and there's a possibility that he'll return to action on Tuesday. Conley is out of his walking boot and able to run, though his ankle is still swollen. He will not play on Saturday or Sunday but this is a very encouraging update, as he reportedly is "looking better than expected." Nick Calathes has been solid as a fill-in PG in his absence, and fantasy owners should enjoy the production while it lasts.

Mike Conley has been diagnosed with a Grade-2 right ankle sprain, and he'll be re-evaluated in one week. Nick Calathes will start at PG on Saturday and should keep the job until Conley is cleared to return.

This doesn't give us any insights into his availability (Tony Allen has technically been day-to-day for weeks) and we're considering him a game-time decision. Considering he couldn't put much weight on his ankle after Friday's game, however, fantasy owners should start considering alternatives if Conley sits out.

He couldn't put weight on his right leg and it would be a big surprise to see him suit up against the Bucks on Saturday. Courtney Lee ran the point the rest of the way following Conley's injury and would be a must-start player against a soft defense. Nick Calathes will get more playing time, Mike Miller could get more burn on the wing and the Grizzlies will almost certainly recall Jamaal Franklin. Conley finished with 12 points, three boards, eight assists, three steals and no turnovers.

Mike Conley was helped off the court against the Wolves on Friday with an apparent right leg injury. He stepped on J.J. Barea's foot and was in agonizing pain. Conley couldn't put weight on his right leg on his way to the locker room. We'll update any updates from the team, but he's very likely to miss time with the injury. Courtney Lee is running the point and Nick Calathes may also see more minutes.

Mike Conley kept up his high scoring output on Wednesday with 27 points against the Kings, adding three boards, 10 assists, two steals and two 3-pointers. After a disastrous December, Conley is tearing it up. His January scoring average will be his best month ever assuming he doesn't get completely shut down against the Wolves on Saturday. If you were able to buy low as the calendar turned to 2014, pat yourself on the back. He should be able to sustain his pace of scoring in the high teens while being among the league leaders in steals.

Mike Conley tied a career-high with 31 points in the Grizzlies' 104-99 win over the Suns on Friday, hitting 11-of-19 shots (3-of-7 from deep, 6-of-6 from the line) to go with seven assists. Conley didn't have a rebound, steal or block but we're not going to complain now that he's red hot all of a sudden with two straight games over 30 points.

Mike Conley hit 12-of-23 shots and three 3-pointers for a season-high 30 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals in Tuesday's tough, overtime loss to the Spurs. Conley caught a lot of flak in fantasyland for a lackluster December, but is clearly feeling it again, averaging 21.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 2.6 steals and 1.8 3-pointers over his last five games on 48 percent shooting. He hit a runner to the send tonight's game to overtime, but missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer at the end of OT.

Mike Conley scored 15 points with two boards, six assists and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Pistons on Sunday. He looks to be back after a sub-par December. Conley shot 39.8 percent in that month while his average of 1.4 steals was his lowest of any full month since January 2011. He was an elite option in standard leagues after the break last season, so there could still be a buy-low window here.

Mike Conley hit just 4-of-11 shots, scored 11 points and committed six turnovers in Thursday's loss to the Suns. He also didn't make a 3-point shot, but did at least have four rebounds and six assists on the night. Conley finally had a big game with 26 points, nine assists and six steals on Monday, but has been pretty mediocre over the last couple weeks, at best. Now is a good time to look into making a buy-low offer on Conley.
