Speights will not make another appearance in this year's Western Conference semifinal, even if the series goes to a seventh game. It's unclear when Speights would return should the Warriors advance to the next round, but he'll at least be out through Sunday.

Speights will be sidelined for at least one week after an MRI on his right calf revealed a mild strain, the Mercury News reports. Speights suffered the sprain in Game 3 against the Grizzlies on Saturday. He won't be re-evaluated for another week, meaning that his earliest available date to play will be Game 7 on Sunday, if the series continues that far. Fellow forward David Lee is expected to pick up the slack in the meantime.

In both games, the Warriors played without Draymond Green (shin) and they may also rest him Thursday against Phoenix. With Golden State having clinched the top spot in the Western Conference, Speights, who's come down some in terms of production from those heady days of December and January, is expected to see a boost in playing time over the final few weeks.

Speights scored 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-4 FT) with five rebounds and three assists in just 14 minutes off the bench Monday. It's his best scoring performance in a month, but even in a blowout win Speights didn't see enough court time to make a him a consistent fantasy asset.

Speights returned from a one-game suspension stemming from a reckless driving charge and was able to approximate his season long average of 11.0 points. However, his form has tailed off after a red-hot start and now can only be considered in very deep leagues.

Speights has been suspended one game after pleading no contest to a reckless driving charge, NBA.com reports. Speights will be held out Thursday against the Nuggets and is expected to return for Friday's contest. The reckless driving charge stemmed from an incident in Florida back in August.

Speights finished with 12 points (6-9 FG), five rebounds and two blocked shots in 18 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's win over the Pistons. When Speights gets a good chunk of minutes, he seems to make good use and put up some points. The problem is he doesn't consistently get those minutes. Over his last four games, his minutes have ranged anywhere from three to 18, so without an increase in consistency, his fantasy value will remain limited.
