Marreese Speights scored 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting with five rebounds, one assist, and one block in 25 minutes on Friday against the Heat. It's outings like these, imperfect as they may be, that will make Speights worth using during the Grizzlies' upcoming five-game week. The good news is that he performed well with Zach Randolph also playing 29 minutes and going for 14 and 14. It's worth nothing that Tony Allen was out tonight, however.

It's not pretty, but this gets it done for owners that started Speights in the Grizzlies' five-game week. As for his long-term future, that's still very much in the air, regardless of what Zach Randolph does in his on-court rehab.

This is why we can't get fully behind Speights, and it will take some injury help or another sustained period of productivity for us to consider using him in the upcoming five-game weeks. He finished with two points and seven boards on 1-of-6 shooting tonight.

Marreese Speights started at center for Marc Gasol (ankle) on Tuesday and had 18 points, seven rebounds, a steal and two blocks in 32 minutes. Speights had come off the bench in three of his four previous games, and should return to that role with Gasol expected back on Friday. But with Zach Randolph still not up to speed, fantasy owners should keep an eye on Speights going forward.

Marreese Speights will start for injured Marc Gasol (ankle) on Tuesday. Hamed Haddadi should also get plenty of run off the bench, but both players will only have short-term value, as Gasol is expected back for their next game, Friday in Houston.
