Smart totaled 14 points (5-17 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one block in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 123-109 loss to Brooklyn.
EDGE Analysis
Smart was once again called upon to do more work on the offensive end, possibly taking away from his energy on the other end of the court. Not renowned as an elite scorer by any stretch of the imagination, Smart certainly did an adequate job across the course of the series, despite some inefficient shooting. The Celtics season now comes to an end and with some doubts arising over their current squad, it will be interesting to see which way the front office decides to go heading into the 2021-22 campaign.

Smart registered 16 points (4-12 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 6-7 FT), nine assists, six rebounds and two steals across 34 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Smart was one of three Boston players that ended with 15 or more points, but he had a fair share of problems shooting the rock and struggled with his accuracy all game long. He still provided value in other categories, however, and Smart's ability to fill the stat sheet on a nightly basis is certainly a plus for him, especially considering his scoring numbers have always been a bit inconsistent -- even if he has taken a step forward in this year's playoffs with 15-plus points in each of his four games of the series against the Nets.

Smart registered 23 points (8-11 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists, three rebounds and a steal across 39 minutes in Friday's win over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Smart was one of two Boston players that reached the 20-point mark, and he's now scored at least 17 points in each of his three appearances during the current series -- the former Oklahoma State standout has been one of the Celtics' most reliable offensive weapons during the current first-round series. Smart has also dished out at least five assists in each of his last five appearances dating back to the regular season, meaning he's doing more than just scoring of late.

Smart registered 19 points (6-13 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-4 FT), six assists, three rebounds and two steals in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 130-108 loss to the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old shot 6-of-13 from the field for the second game in a row, a span in which he's averaging 18.0 points, 5.5 assists, 4.0 three-pointers, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals. Smart is averaging 34.2 minutes over his first two playoff games, which is a trend that should continue with Jaylen Brown (wrist) out for the season. The seventh-year guard will look to help get the Celtics in the win column at home on Friday.

Smart delivered 17 points (6-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five assists and three rebounds across 40 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Smart delivered a much better performance than the one he posted in the play-in win over the Wizards, where he ended with seven points. It's worth noting the defensive specialist has gone 16 straight games without reaching the 20-point mark, but he tends to contribute in other areas of the game to remain valuable in most formats.

Smart (calf) is absent from the injury report for Tuesday's play-in game against the Wizards.

Smart (calf) is out for Saturday's matchup against the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
Smart will miss a second straight game due to a calf bruise, and Kemba Walker (neck) will be out for a second straight game as well. During Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers, coach Brad Stevens started Tremont Waters and Aaron Nesmith in the backcourt.

Smart is out Wednesday against the Cavaliers due to a right calf contusion, John Karalis of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smart suffered a bruised calf during Tuesday's loss to the Heat, and he'll be unable to play in the second half of the back-to-back set. With Smart and Kemba Walker (rest) both out, Payton Pritchard, Evan Fournier, Romeo Langford and Aaron Nesmith are all candidates to see more usage.

Smart went for 16 points (7-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, two rebounds and two steals across 34 minutes in Sunday's 130-124 loss to the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Smart had been dreadful over his previous three games, totaling just 18 points on 7-of-27 (25.9 percent) shooting prior to Sunday. Still, Smart shot just 41.1 percent from the floor in April and is starting May by shooting 34.1 percent in his first four contests this month. While he was able to get some buckets Sunday, Smart was bit by the turnover bug, committing six of the team's 14 turnovers in the loss.
