Kennard will come off the bench for Wednesday's preseason game against the Wizards, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis

Kennard will start at shooting guard for Monday's preseason game against the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard has come off the bench for the bulk of the preseason thus far, so Monday's start suggests he's still battling for a spot in the top unit. Along with Kennard, Reggie Bullock is starting on the wing Monday, though guys like Stanley Johnson and Glenn Robinson are still in consideration for the job as well.

Kennard will come off the bench for Wednesday's preseason opener against the Thunder, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard put together a solid rookie season with the Pistons last year, posting averages of 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 three-pointers across 20.0 minutes. With a strong camp, Kennard was expected to be in the running for a starting job, though it will be Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson that will open the preseason as the top two guys on the wing. Considering it's still just the preseason, this isn't guaranteed to be the lineup that's used once the regular season arrives, so Kennard should still have a chance to battle for a top spot over the next few weeks.

Kennard (knee), according to coach Dwane Casey, was "a go" at camp Tuesday and his conditioning "was fine", James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard has been recovering from a knee strain since July, but appears to be healthy at the beginning of camp. Kennard saw 20.0 minutes last season as a rookie, and he notably shot 41.5 percent from deep. He should have a crack at a starting role this season.

Kennard (knee) will likely be limited to begin training camp, Rod Beard of the Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard has been battling a knee strain since early July, and while the Pistons are encouraged that it won't be a long-term issue, the expectation is that he won't be cleared for full-contact right way. Nonetheless, Kennard should be ready when opening night rolls around.

Kennard suffered a left knee strain during Monday's practice and will be shut down for the remainder of summer league, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
While the injury is reportedly "nothing serious", the Pistons will opt to play it safe with last year's No. 12 overall pick. He'll presumably be healthy by the time training camp rolls around, where he'll have the opportunity to fight for the starting shooting guard spot.

Kennard is expected to play with the Pistons' summer league team, Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard is coming off a rookie season where he averaged 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists across 20.0 minutes. His biggest contribution came as a three-point shooter, however, hitting 1.1 deep balls per game at an impressive 41.5 percent clip. Despite the solid showing in his first year, the Pistons want to get him some run in the summer league, specifically to try Kennard out at point guard. That suggests Detroit wants to develop his ball-handling and play making skills a bit more and summer league provides the perfect opportunity to experiment with a young player.

Kennard had 23 points (8-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 119-87 victory over Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard recorded a career-high 23 points, helping the Pistons to a massive victory over the Bulls. That makes three impressive performances to finish the season and certainly puts him in the discussion for standard league value next season, depending on where he fits into the rotation.

Kennard collected 20 points (7-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal across 35 minutes in Monday's 108-98 loss to the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard will start down the stretch for the Pistons as Reggie Bullock (knee) will remain out for the year. He has averaged 19 points the past two games and looks locked in as the best point-producer for the Pistons to close the season.

Kennard will move into the starting five for the Pistons' final four games of the season, Rod Beard of the Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Pistons announced earlier Friday that Reggie Bullock (knee) will be shut down for the remainder of the year, and coach Stan Van Gundy subsequently named Kennard the starter at shooting guard. The rookie has been a key piece in the rotation for nearly the entire season, and he's coming off of a 12-point, four-rebound, two-assist performance in Wednesday's loss to Philadelphia.
