Kennard produced 16 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 24 minutes during Tuesday's 115-88 victory over Phoenix.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard continues to trend in the right direction, putting up double-figure scoring for the fifth time in his last six games. Despite continuing to come off the bench, he has been outplaying a number of other players and when the team falls out of the playoff picture, he could be in line for an uptick in playing time. He is not a standard league player yet but is worth keeping an eye on.

Kennard posted 12 points (4-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists and a steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 100-87 loss to the Trail Blazers.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a questionable tag, Kennard seemed to show no ill effects from his hamstring injury.Kennard has out[erforrmed James Eniss III and Ish Smith consistently from a bench role as the Detroit backcourt has been in flux since Reggie Jackson's departure. It's possible that we'll see Jackson back as early as next week, which should bring this issue into sharper focus. Kennard should see an opportunity to find more time next season if they elect to keep him around.

Kennard is dealing with a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers, Rod Beard of the Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard played just 18 minutes Thursday against the Nuggets, so it seems likely the injury occurred at some point during that contest. The exact severity of it remains unclear, though the fact that he hasn't already been ruled out suggests it's only a minor ailment. Look for another update at some point closer to tip-off, though if Kennard does miss time, look for some combination of Reggie Bullock, James Ennis and Stanley Johnson to take on his minutes.

Kennard posted 18 points (8-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, two assists and a steal in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 110-79 loss to the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard was surprisingly the bright spot on the team in the blowout loss, likely due to the fact that the Pistons turned to their bench in the second half when a win was clearly out of reach. The guard has seen significant time in the past four games after an eight-game stretch where he failed to see more than 18 minutes. With several guards injured, Kennard should continue to see time at the off-guard and sometimes at the wing. As the season draws to a close Kennard could be an effective add in seasonal leagues as well as DFS formats.

Kennard contributed 10 points (2-9 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one block across 31 minutes off the bench during Friday's 99-83 win over the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
Though he struggled mightily with his shot, Kennard received ample run off the bench, finding ways to contribute on the glass and as a playmaker. He's now received 30 minutes of run in back-to-back games for the first time this season and appears to have worked his way into a sizable spot in the rotation. That said, Reggie Bullock continues to start at the two and could limit Kennard's production on most nights.

Kennard will come off the bench Friday against Chicago, James Edwards of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
In an effort to mix things up amid a difficult stretch, the Pistons went with Kennard at small forward Wednesday against Toronto, but the rookie didn't make a major impact in 31 minutes, finishing with nine points, six rebounds and three assists with a pair of made threes. Coach Stan Van Gundy will go back to James Ennis at small forward Friday.

Kennard (illness) will play during Wednesday's contest against the Raptors and draw the start over James Ennis, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard's illness wasn't expected to hold him out of Wednesday's contest, so the more meaningful news here is that he'll be drawing the start. He should see significant run as well considering the absence of Stanley Johnson (back). Kennard hasn't played much lately, seeing a total of nine minutes over the past four games, including two DNP-CDs. But, he's often played well when given significant run. In the 21 games this year when he seen at least 20 minutes, the rookie has averaged 9.4 points, 2.6 boards and 2.0 assists while shooting 49.0 percent from the field and 45.3 percent from beyond the arc.

Kennard (illness) is probable for Wednesday's contest against the Raptors, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard missed Tuesday's practice as a result of a stomach issue but was able to go through Wednesday's morning shootaround. With Stanley Johnson (back) questionable, Kennard could see more time than usual if Johnson ends up sidelined. Over the past four games, Kennard has played just nine minutes -- a stretch which includes two DNP-CDs.

Kennard missed Tuesday's practice as the result of a minor stomach issue, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard should be tentatively considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Raptors. If he ends up being held out, other wing players could see a slight uptick in workload. That said, Kennard has two DNP-CD's over the past four games and has played a total of nine minutes over that stretch. So, the rotation likely wouldn't be too affected by his absence.

Kennard poured in 12 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) while adding four assists and two rebounds across 24 minutes in Monday's 111-91 victory over the Trail Blazers.
EDGE Analysis
Kennard returned from a toe injury that caused him to miss one game, and played his usual dose of minutes, collecting 24 of them Monday night. He was efficient with his opportunities, but with Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson meshing well with the two talented big men, it would be surprising if Kennard cracks the starting lineup or receives more minutes than he did Monday night.
