Nance (knee) went through shootaround Wednesday morning, Mark Medina of the LA Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance continues to hold a questionable designation as Wednesday night's matchup with the Grizzlies nears, but his participation in shootaround is certainly a step in the right direction. Look for a more definitive update later in the day, but at this point it appears concerns earlier in the week that Nance could be shut down for the season after tweaking his knee Monday against Milwaukee may have been a bit overblown.

Nance (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against Memphis, Serena Winters of Lakers Nation reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance has dealt with a right knee injury over the last few weeks, and the ailment flared up during Monday's loss to the Bucks. Reports after the game suggested the Lakers were considering shutting down the rookie for the remainder of the season, but judging by his questionable status Wednesday, that decision has not been made.

Nance (knee) could be shut down for the rest of the season, ESPN Los Angeles reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance's knee issue flared up during Monday's game against the Bucks, and while he said afterward that he expects to play Wednesday versus Memphis, it seems that the Lakers' coaching staff and/or front office may have a drastically different outlook. Nance hasn't been ruled out for Wednesday, but even if he does suit up, there's some chance he'll be shut down in the coming weeks.

Nance (knee) intends to play in Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, Mike Trudell of Lakers.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance was removed from Monday's game against the Bucks for precautionary reasons and told the media later in the night that his knee was fine. If there's lingering pain ahead of Wednesday, fellow frontcourt options Brandon Bass, Tarik Black, and Ryan Kelly will be able to absorb Nance's minutes.

Nance will not return to Monday's matchup with the Bucks due to a sore right kneeMark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
While the severity of the knee injury is currently unknown, it should be noted that the Lakers were getting blown out, so they lacked incentive to keep Nance in the game. Nance wioll finish the game with two points, three rebounds, and one assist in ten minutes of action. He should be considered day-to-day going forward. Expect an update on his status prior to the Lakers' next matchup with the Grizzlies on Wednesday.

Nance (knee) was a partial participant in Wednesday's practice and the team will have a further update on his status Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Nance missed the Lakers' last six games going into the All-Star break and 10 of their last 13 overall due to a knee injury, but the time off has given him a chance to heal up before the start of the second half. His status is still uncertain for Friday's game against San Antonio, but the team figures to shed more light on his availability following Thursday's practice.

Lakers coach Byron Scott indicated that he's hopeful Nance (knee) will be able to resume practicing with the team Wednesday, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance has missed 10 of the Lakers' 13 contests -- including the final six before the All-Star break -- while dealing with soreness in his right knee. After the Lakers' training staff prescribed some time off, the rookie appears to have responded well to the rest, as he's being declared "pain free" and has been working on strengthening his knee throughout the break. If he's indeed able to practice Wednesday, he could be cleared to play Friday against the Spurs.

The Lakers confirmed Monday that Nance (knee) would be shut down through the end of the All-Star break, Baxter Holmes of ESPN Los Angeles reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Byron Scott hinted after Sunday's tilt with the Hornets that Nance could require an extended shutdown period after he experienced recurring soreness in his right knee, which prevented him from playing in that contest. In an effort to avoid worsening Nance's situation, the Lakers will give the rookie two weeks' worth of rest with the hope that it helps resolve the knee issue. The Lakers' first game after the All-Star break will be Feb. 19 against the Spurs, meaning that Nance is set to miss at least five games. Nance's absence will give Julius Randle some added security in his starting role at power forward.

Head coach Byron Scott is considering holding Nance (knee) out until the All-Star break, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance played in the Lakers' last three games after sitting out five straight contests, but it appears his knee is still not right, and he could receive another extended rest in order to take advantage of the upcoming All-Star break. Nance has not officially been ruled out beyond Sunday's game against the Hornets as of yet, but it seems likely he will miss further action to some degree.
