Nance has been ruled out of Sunday night's contest with a sore right knee, Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance had slowly been working his way back into the Lakers' rotation after missing four consecutive games due to his right knee over a week ago. After coming off the bench the past three contests it appears that the injury has now resurfaced to the point where the rookie will have to take the night off. With Nance back on the bench, look for Julius Randle to continue to start.

Nance (knee) was held scoreless (0-1 FG) and collected seven rebounds and an assist over 23 minutes in Tuesday's 92-90 loss to the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
The Lakers utilized Nance off the bench in his return from a four-game absence due to a sore right knee, allowing Julius Randle to make another start at power froward. Nance looked to be active on the defensive end Tuesday, but committed five fouls and wasn't much of a factor offensively. Still, coach Byron Scott seems to prefer using Nance in a starting role, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the rookie ends up taking back the job from Randle at some point in the near future.

Nance (knee) will come off the bench on Tuesday in his first game back from a knee injury, Mike Trudell of ESPN Los Angeles reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Byron Scott wants to ease Nance back into the lineup, so he'll bring him off the bench Tuesday and keep his minutes limited. Julius Randle is expected to remain in the starting lineup in his place and should receive the majority of the power forward minutes. As soon as Nance is back to full health, he's expected to return to the starting lineup.

Nance (knee) is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday against Dallas, Mark Medina of the LA Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance went through practice Monday and told reporters that his right knee feels 100 percent. As a result, coach Byron Scott said he expects to have Nance back Tuesday after the rookie missed the last four games, meaning Julius Randle could shift back to a bench role.

Nance (knee) will sit out again Saturday when the Lakers take on the Trail Blazers, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance has missed the previous three games due to knee soreness, so this will make it four. Julius Randle should continue seeing an increased role in Nance's absence. His next opportunity to return will be Tuesday versus the Mavericks.

Nance (knee) has been upgraded to a game-time decision for Friday's outing with the Spurs, Mark Medina of L.A. Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance came into the day listed as doubtful, but after getting some jumpers up during shootaround, he's had his status upgraded to a game-time call. We should see another update on his availability as we get closer to tip-off. If he's forced to sit out again, Julius Randle should continue to run with the starting lineup.

Nance (knee) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
It was initially reported that Nance would miss both Wednesday's and Friday's game, but it now appears there is a small chance he could take the court Friday night. The rookie is dealing with soreness in his right knee, which has kept him out of the past two games. An official decision is likely to be made after the Lakers' see how Nance preforms in Friday morning's shootaround.

Nance (knee) will not play Wednesday against the Kings, Abbey Mastracco of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Coach Byron Scott indicated Tuesday that Nance is "very doubtful" to play in the remaining two games of the Lakers' homestand Wednesday against the Kings and Friday against the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
Scott noted that the rookie forward will likely need to take the next two games off in order to strengthen and stabilize his right knee, with Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers representing the earliest that Nance could possibly return. Assuming he does indeed sit out those next two contests, Julius Randle would likely fill in as the starter at power forward.
