Nance contributed 15 points (6-11 FG, 3-3 FT) eight rebounds, four steals, two assists and two blocks across 27 minutes during Friday's 112-89 win over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Nance received his most court time since arriving in Cleveland, finishing second on the team in rebounding while setting high marks since the trade in points, steals and blocks. He notably outplayed Tristan Thompson by 11 minutes, and while this can partly be attributed to the blowout nature of the contest, the situation should be monitored due to the latter's lack of production this season.

Nance lost to Donovan Mitchell in the finals of Saturday's Verizon Slam Dunk.
EDGE Analysis
The new Cavalier paid tribute to his father in the contest, wearing a throwback jersey and duplicating one of his winning dunks from 1984 for his first salvo of the opening round before taking a pass from his pops in the finals, and while Nance had what may have been the single best dunk in the entire contest -- passing the ball to himself off the backboard then tapping the glass again before slamming it home -- it wasn't enough to top Mitchell. Nance headed into the All-Star break averaging 8.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 44 games, and those numbers don't seem likely to improve given his role so far in Cleveland.

Nance scored 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-6 FT) while adding nine rebounds, three blocks, two assists and a steal in 25 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 120-112 win over the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Impressively, eight of those boards came on the offensive end. It looks as though Nance will be the Cavs' new second-unit frontcourt anchor rather than filling in for Kevin Love (hand) in the starting five, and while that role still limits his court time and fantasy ceiling, the improved supporting cast should lead to a boost in Nance's production compared to his time with the Lakers.

Nance will come off the bench to make his Cavaliers debut during Sunday's contest against the Celtics, Fred McLeod of Fox Sports Ohio reports.
EDGE Analysis
All of the new Cavaliers acquired at Thursday's trade deadline will be in action for Sunday's contest against the Celtics. Nance will presumably get reserve minutes behind Tristan Thompson at center, though could also spend some time at power forward too. In 22.0 minutes per game with the Lakers this season, Nance has posted 8.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and a combined 1.9 steals/blocks.

Nance (coach's decision) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hawks, Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
No new Cavaliers will suit up Friday night after the team overhauled their roster at the trade deadline Thursday. This will leave Cedi Osman and Jeff Green to see an uptick in minutes at forward alongside LeBron James. Nance will make his Cavalier debut Sunday against the Celtics.

Nance (Coach's Decision) is unlikely to make his Cavaliers debut Friday against the Hawks, Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance will have to fly to Atlanta and pass his physical before being cleared to play, which probably won't happen quickly enough to put him in a position to play Friday. As a result, LeBron James, Jeff Green, Tristan Thompson and Ante Zizic are all candidates to see significant boosts to their workload against Atlanta. Nance's debut should occur Sunday at Boston.

Nance and Jordan Clarkson will be traded from the Lakers to the Cavaliers in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye and a protected first-round pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance has spent his first three seasons with the Lakers, largely playing a complementary reserve role off the bench with minutes in the low 20s. He's prided for his athletic ability and defensive prowess, which is something the Cavaliers have severely lacked so far this season. Look for Nance to come off the bench, though he immediately upgrades a frontcourt that is without Kevin Love (hand) for the next eight weeks or so. His exact workload is still a bit unclear, so this will be a situation to monitor over the next few weeks or so. All that said, Nance's role doesn't appear as if it will be changing much to what he saw in Los Angeles.

Nance went for six points (2-5 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and one steal across 17 minutes in Tuesday's 112-93 win over the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
Nance continues to form an effective frontcourt trio with Julius Randle and Kyle Kuzma, and while his scoring totals occasionally leave something to be desired, his work on the glass continues to be strong on the majority of nights. The 25-year-old's minutes have notably been in the teens for the first three games of February, however, a notable change from the 23.9 he averaged in January. Nance's playing time will be something to continue monitoring when the Lakers face off with the Thunder on Thursday.

Nance recorded 15 points (7-8 FG, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals across 25 minutes in Sunday's 123-111 loss to the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
Nance struggled through a hip injury earlier in the month, but that did not seem to have any hinderance on his play Sunday night, which is encouraging after coming off zero-point outing the game prior. Nance will never be a prolific scorer, but he is a steady source of rebounds, making him a threat to double-double on any given night, which boosts his value.

Nance (hip) is active and available to play in Wednesday's game against the Thunder, Erik Horne of the Oklahoman reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nance was already considered probable, so this latest update comes as no surprise. He'll be available in his usual bench capacity and over his last three games, he's averaged an impressive 10.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks across 25.0 minutes.
