Lowry showed no hangover from the loss of his running partner in DeMar DeRozan, pouring in a game-high 27 points on 10-of-12 shooting. He was on fire from all over the floor and gelled well with Kawhi Leonard on both ends. Lowry was somewhat overlooked in a lot of drafts as owners went for the more flashy options. He is one of the more consistent options around and should be able to return close to top 25 value despite the addition of Leonard.

Lowry will sit out Thursday's preseason finale against the Pelicans for rest purposes, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

The Raptors are giving the bulk of their regular contributors the night off for rest, so it will likely be a make-shift lineup filled with bench players Thursday. That said, all the players out for rest should be back for next week's regular-season opener.

Lowry came through with an efficient performance shooting the ball, but he made hay as a passer, leading all players in assists for his second double-double of the series. The veteran is averaging just 15.8 points per game this series, but he's chipping in 8.8 assists and 2.2 steals per game in addition to his hard-nosed defense against John Wall. Lowry will now set his sights on Game 6 as Toronto looks to close things out on the road Friday.

Lowry, despite putting up some nice numbers, was quiet as the Raptors blew a 14 point lead to fall to the Wizards. The Raptors have a history of under-performing come playoff time and fans will be hoping that they can turn things around as the series heads North for Game Five on Wednesday.

Lowry enjoyed an efficient shooting night, finishing second on the team in scoring as he knocked down five shots from beyond the arc. He also ran the offense effectively again, but a big performance by the home team's backcourt inspired them to their first win of the series. Lowry has increased his scoring every game thus far in the first round, but he'll likely need to do even more to help his side scrap out a road victory in Game 4.

Lowry had an atrocious shooting night in Game 2, but he realized he was struggling and made up for it with double-digit dimes, seven boards and a steal to help the Raptors earn the win. What makes him an elite point guard is not his scoring, but his versatility to take a game over on offense or find the man who is hot at the time, which is exactly what he did with DeMar DeRozan heating up in Game 2 early.

Lowry posted 11 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, nine assists and two steals across 38 minutes Saturday as the Raptors topped the Wizards in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference first-round playoff series.

Lowry played conductor on a night where the Raptors were getting buckets from nearly everybody who got minutes. The Raptors rode a balanced scoring attack that included six players posting double-digit scoring performances with two others chipping in nine points apiece. The team shot 53.2-percent from the field and 53.3-percent from three-point land while getting 42 points from the bench. Lowry fell one assist short of a double-double, finishing with a reasonably modest line. It appears as if he is plenty comfortable running the show on offense and letting the Raptors collection of offensive talent get their buckets. Saturday was a strong example of the East's top seed playing their best basketball, and Lowry has plenty of value from a fantasy perspective when that happens.
