Kyle Lowry played 23 minutes off the bench against the Thunder on Sunday, scoring 10 points with two boards, eight assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.
He played just 24.8 minutes per game since returning from a triceps injury, but he's put up some nice averages of 13. points, 7.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.8 triples. Lowry might be inconsistent coming off the bench, but he should be able to produce in any role and he should be viewed as a buy-low player.

Kyle Lowry scored 24 points off the bench on Friday against the Kings, hitting 5-of-10 shots (including four treys) with three rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 28 minutes.
Lowry abused the guy he took the starting job from in Houston, Aaron Brooks, and did the rest of his damage against Jimmer Fredette and John Salmons. Whether he starts or not he's going to be a solid fantasy asset, and it's possible he gets some real good matchups going against opposing teams' second units. Jose Calderon scored 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting with three assists in 27 minutes, and there wasn't anything truly significant in this game to catalyze a change.

Kyle Lowry said he is content with his current bench role.
In the three games since Lowry returned from his triceps injury, he's averaging just 24.1 minutes while playing behind Jose Calderon. But the Raptors have gone 3-0 in those contests and they went 5-2 during the seven previous games Lowry was sidelined. "Everybody is accepting his role. Everybody is coming in and contributing in each facet of the game," he said. "We're out here together. That's all that matters." Lowry figures to eventually get his starting job back once the Raptors cool off. There's a buy-low window available after Wednesday night's zero-point outing.

Kyle Lowry came off the bench for a second night in a row and scored 16 points with four rebounds, six assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 23 minutes against the Magic on Saturday.
The 23 minutes are a little misleading since the Raptors had won this game by 35 points. Lowry may continue to come off the bench with Jose Calderon playing well, but a sixth man role doesn't necessarily mean Lowry will lose value. He's worth starting in all leagues.

Kyle Lowry (triceps) returned from a seven-game absence on Friday, scoring 17 points on 5-of-7 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and two blocks in 28 minutes off the bench.
Lowry was benched in part because of his shot selection, and it was clear that he was concentrating on that tonight. This, of course, lends credibility to the idea that coming off the bench is a kick in the pants, and the current arrangement might go by the wayside once Dwane Casey believes the message has been received. Lowry made a couple of key shots tonight, too, while Jose Calderon went 1-of-6 from the field for two points and just six assists.

As expected, Kyle Lowry (triceps) will play on Friday, but Jose Calderon will continue to start.
This is confirmation of what we already knew. However, it is good to see that Lowry didn't have any setbacks or anything of that nature. Lowry will come off the bench and it's conceivable the Raptors could use a backcourt that features both Lowry and Calderon at times.

Kyle Lowry (triceps), who is expected to return on Friday, said that his conditioning is not an issue.
Lowry looked a tad out of shape last time he returned from an injury, so this is good news for his owners. "I've done a lot of conditioning work, a lot of just trying to stay prepared and some movements that are similar to the games but without the ball," he said. Lowry will anchor the second unit upon his return with Jose Calderon remaining in the starting lineup.

Kyle Lowry (triceps) is expected to return Friday against the Hornets, according to coach Dwane Casey.
Assuming there are no post-practice setbacks Thursday, it appears all systems are go for Lowry's return, albeit as a reserve. Owners should expect Lowry to get some minutes Friday night, although the Raptors may limit him to start. With Jose Calderon entrenched as the starting PG, it's unlikely Lowry will put up the same numbers he did earlier in the season, but he remains worth owning, as is Calderon.

Kyle Lowry will come off the bench when he returns from his triceps injury and Jose Calderon will remain the starter.
Calderon has put his stamp on the Raptors since Lowry went down, and Dwane Casey previously hinted that Calderon would keep his starting job. Both guards should still see plenty of playing time, and while they could offset one another's production at times, both guards are worth owning.
