While the Wizards' struggles are noticeable, Kuzma remains a valuable fantasy alternative across all formats, even if his numbers are not as good as they were in November and December.

Kuzma's result helped interim head coach Brian Keefe notch his first victory. The Michigan native, who played in front of friends and family from the area, made the most of his playing time, sending up 27 shot attempts in the victory. Although the Wizards added another forward in Marvin Bagley, his arrival hasn't affected Kuzma's numbers at all. The veteran remains the most dependable fantasy contributor on the roster.

Kuzma closed with 26 points (12-24 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds and five assists across 34 minutes during Thursday's 123-108 loss to Utah.

The 28-year-old forward led the Wizards in scoring as he snapped a brief four-game stretch in which he didn't provide more than 17 points. While Kuzma's offense has been slightly erratic in January, he's found other ways to contribute -- over the last 10 contests, he's averaged 19.6 points, 8.6 boards, 5.1 assists, 1.7 threes, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks.

Kuzma recorded 17 points (5-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 14 rebounds, eight assists and one block across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 118-107 loss to Minnesota.

Kuzma led all Wizards starters in rebounds and assists while finishing as one of four players with a double-digit point total and ending two dimes short of a triple-double in a losing effort. Kuzma has recorded a double-double in six games this season, posting at least 15 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in two outings.

Kuzma totaled 17 points (7-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and two blocks in 33 minutes during Sunday's 113-104 loss to Denver.

Kuzma was the leading scorer for Washington on Sunday and was one of five players to finish with double-digit points. Kuzma is averaging 21.9 points per game on the year, but those numbers have dipped down to 17.8 points per game on 41.2 percent shooting in January.

Kuzma was ejected after being assessed two technical fouls during the fourth quarter of Monday's game against the Pistons, Mike Curtis of The Detroit News reports.

The Wizards were outplayed by the Knicks in this one, but Kuzma found a way to deliver a decent stat line despite the 16-point defeat. Kuzma has been Washington's most consistent player, and perhaps the lone bright spot in fantasy, this season, and he has scored 25 or more points in three of his last five contests.

Kuzma closed with nine points (4-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Friday's 114-90 loss to Cleveland.

EDGE Analysis

Kuzma was held to single-digit scoring for just the second time this season and the first time since Dec. 22 against the Warriors. His streak of leading the Wizards in scoring was snapped at four games as Tyus Jones led the way with 16 points in Friday's loss. Kuzma will look to bounce back Saturday against the Knicks.
