Knox (calf) went through a limited practice Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Knox is still battling the strained calf that's limited him throughout the preseason, and he should be considered firmly questionable for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

Knox (calf) won't play in Friday's preseason game against Washington, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Knox was listed as questionable after being limited during Thursday's practice, and he's unsurprisingly been ruled out for Friday's matchup, likely as a precaution. He'll have a few more opportunities to take the court in the preseason.

Knox (calf) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice and is listed as questionable for Friday's preseason outing against Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Knox popped up on the injury report Wednesday when he missed practice due to a strained right calf. He appears to at least be trending in the right direction with his limited participation Thursday, but his status for Friday is certainly in question. The Knicks likely won't overwork Knox with the start of the regular season drawing closer.

Knox did not practice Wednesday due to a strained right calf.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when Knox picked up the injury, but coach David Fizdale downplayed the severity of the issue, calling it a light strain, according to Chris Iseman of The Bergen Record. He should be considered day-to-day ahead of Friday's preseason matchup against Washington.

Knox tallied 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt), seven rebounds, an assist and a steal in 29 minutes Monday against Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Knox didn't get the starting nod in New York's preseason opener, but he made an impact off the bench in a 104-99 victory. He appears to have the edge on Marcus Morris for the starting job, though he'll look to take a step forward during his second NBA season after shooting just 37 percent from the field last year.

Knox totaled 25 points (7-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 9-12 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and a steal across 24 minutes in the Knicks' win over the Lakers in the Las Vegas Summer League on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Knox did a little bit of everything in the win, including lead his team in scoring. He's put together a strong string of games in the LVSL so far, averaging 18.5 points per game on 50 percent shooting in his last two contests. Knox will need to improve on last season's shooting percentage (37 percent) to score more than the 12.8 points per game he averaged as a rookie.

Knox finished with 12 points (4-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 33 minutes during the Knicks' 105-100 overtime loss to the Suns in a Las Vegas Summer League game Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Knox had put together a solid 17-point, eight-rebound effort to open summer league play, so Sunday's effort represented a slight downturn. However, the fact the 2018 first-round pick should see plenty of minutes in Las Vegas should only help him build on the improvement he displayed during the latter part of his rookie season, one he finished with 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 28.8 minutes (75 games).

Knox tallied 17 points (5-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, and two assists in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 96-86 victory over Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Knox had his first double-double in over six weeks Tuesday, finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds in the victory over the Bulls. Efficiency was an issue once again and has basically been the sticking point when looking at his rookie season. He also struggles to put up numbers outside of points and three's, leaving him as more of a fringe standard league player.

Knox finished with 21 points (7-13 FG< 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two steals, an assists and a block in 34 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Knox continued his strong play to end the season, topping double digits for the eight time in his past 10 games. After suffering through growing pains at the beginning of the season, the rookie forward has managed to shoot above 40-percent from the field for the past month, upping his season-long field goal percentage to 37.0. While he continues to post largely empty lines asided from scoring, Knox has secured a large enough workload to nearly guarantee above-average scoring production on a regular basis.

Knox put up 19 points (6-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one block in 40 minutes Monday in the Knicks' 113-105 win over the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
Knox has received exactly 40 minutes in back-to-back contests, which suggests the Knicks don't have much concern about his health after a recent bout with a minor ankle injury. With New York already having seemingly shut down several veterans for the season, Knox should benefit from robust playing time over the final five games. That alone should be enough for him to deliver quality point totals, though his lagging across-the-board production and poor shooting don't make him a fit for every season-long roster.
