Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Knox II is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the team following the All-Star break. Knox is currently playing with the Warriors G-League affiliate. He's averaging 19.3 points and 7.8 rebounds, which has opened up some eyes lately. Knox was in training camp with the Warriors, but he wasn't able to make the final roster. Now with the team having vacant roster spots they're considering bringing Knox onto their roster. He probably wouldn't play enough to ...
Trail Blazers Re-Sign Kevin Knox rotoballer.com Sun 9/10/23 8:35 AM
Forward Kevin Knox has rejoined the Portland Trail Blazers on a one-year deal. The former first-round pick also spent the final few months of last season in Portland before becoming an unrestricted free agent this summer when the Trail Blazers declined to pick up a $3 million option on his contract. Knox enjoyed a decent spell with Portland, posting 8.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in 17.1 minutes, but his career has never really taken off since the New York Knicks selected him ninth in the 2018 ...
Kevin Knox II Scores Game-High 30 Points Saturday rotoballer.com Sun 4/9/23 8:18 AM
Portland Trail Blazers forward Kevin Knox II had a prolific outing against the Clippers Saturday, ending up as the top scorer in a 136-125 loss with 30 points on 10-for-15 shooting. He was 5-for-8 with the three-ball and also posted a game-high 11 rebounds with two assists and one steal. Knox II has done well since getting a spot in the rotation and starting to log meaningful minutes. His shooting can be streaky, but he has still averaged close to 20 points this month with 6.0 rebounds. The ...
Kevin Knox II Signs With Pistons rotoballer.com Fri 7/1/22 6:49 PM
The Detroit Pistons have agreed to a two-year deal with forward Kevin Knox II. This is a low-risk signing for the Pistons since they do need depth on the wings. Although, it's unlikely that Knox comes out and becomes a reliable contributor in his fifth season. The once top prospect is shooting a rough 36.9 percent through his career. It'd take a few injuries for Knox to get legitimate playing time in Detroit. It's unlikely he'd do much with more minutes anyway, so this is basically a $6 million ...
Hawks Not Extending Qualifying Offer To Kevin Knox II rotoballer.com Wed 6/29/22 9:02 PM
The Hawks declined to extend a qualifying offer to forward Kevin Knox II, making him an unrestricted free agent. Since being selected with the No. 9 overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft, Knox hasn't done much of anything, averaging only 7.7 points and 2.9 rebounds. There's a decent chance he'll find another club. However, Knox will likely be a deep bench option wherever he ends up, so it's unlikely the 22-year-old receives any fantasy interest moving ahead.
Kevin Knox II Enters Safety Protocols rotoballer.com Thu 12/16/21 2:39 PM
New York Knicks forward Kevin Knox II has entered the league's health and safety protocols. This is a shame considering Knox was playing well over his last two games. It seemed like Knox was finally building some momentum in New York. Now, the Knicks will have to rely on Mitchell Robinson and Nerlens Noel more without Knox available. Both are limited in skillset and don't offer huge upside.
Kevin Knox II Remains Out Of Knicks Rotation rotoballer.com Mon 2/1/21 8:29 PM
New York Knicks small/power forward Kevin Knox II is not currently among the team's 10-man rotation, per head coach Tom Thibodeau. Despite that, Thibodeau indicated that Knox would not be heading to the G League bubble to get extended run, but would remain a bench cog that could eventually crack the rotation. Knox has delivered three double-digit scoring performances off the bench this season, but he has seen his minutes steadily slip over January. While his fantasy upside is reassured by ...
Reggie Bullock, Kevin Knox II Probable For Friday rotoballer.com Thu 1/7/21 4:27 PM
New York Knicks guard Reggie Bullock (knee) and forward Kevin Knox II (knee) are listed as probable for Friday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Both players were able to return during Wednesday's win over the Utah Jazz. They filled their normal roles, but neither player has much fantasy appeal. Both of them could be worth looking at in deeper leagues, however.
Kevin Knox Expected To Play On Tuesday rotoballer.com Mon 12/28/20 4:13 PM
New York Knicks forward Kevin Knox (knee) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was able to play through left knee soreness on Sunday. The Knicks desperately need him on the court with Austin Rivers (groin) and Immanuel Quickley (hip) already ruled out. Alec Burks (ankle) is listed as questionable, so Knox could be looking at big minutes for Tuesday's contest.
Kevin Knox Looks Impressive In Training Camp rotoballer.com Mon 12/7/20 8:15 PM
New York Knicks forward Kevin Knox has reportedly looked good during training camp, according to head coach Tom Thibodeau. "When Kevin Knox takes good shots, he's going to make them. He's put a lot of time into his shooting. I think he's gotten stronger," said Thibodeau. It's unlikely that Knox ever lives up to the hype of being taken that high in the draft, but he could silence some haters this season. He probably won't be taken in most standard leagues, but is worth keeping an eye on during ...
