Primo had a minimal role with San Antonio to begin the year, as he averaged just 2.5 points in 3.0 minutes per game across two appearances. He'll presumably be in line for additional work in the G League.

Primo finished the preseason appearing in five games and averaging 5.8 points on 63.2 percent shooting from the field, including 50.0 percent from three, 1.2 assists and 1.0 rebounds in 9.7 minutes.

The 18-year-old didn't get a ton of run in the preseason, but it seems like he's more of a developmental project for the Spurs, who garnered some critique for taking Primo at No. 12 overall in this year's draft. He was much more active in Summer League, where he averaged 14.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 blocks. However, he shot just 36.2 percent from the field and had more turnovers than assists. Primo can be ignored in redraft leagues, but he has some value as a flier in deep keeper/dynasty leagues.
