Richardson was excellent for the Heat once again, playing a team-high 40 minutes in the overtime victory. He played some excellent defense down the stretch, nullifying Kristaps Porzingis through the overtime period. He is not scoring in double figures with incredible consistency while also adding the defensive stats he is known for. After a slow and underwhelming start to the season, he is rolling now and should be owned in all leagues.

Richardson scored 22 points (7-12 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding five assists, a steal and a block in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 111-104 win over the Pistons.

EDGE Analysis

He's now scored 20 or more points in five of his last nine games, averaging 20.1 points, 3.9 assists, 3.6 boards, 2.1 three-pointers, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks over that stretch. The third-year wing's increased usage has largely come while Dion Waiters deals with an ankle injury, so Richardson should remain a strong short-term fantasy option until Waiters is 100 percent.

Richardson was a highly-owned commodity in the DFS world Saturday after his recent run of hot play where he's been averaging 18.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists during the month of December. Things didn't quite pan out for him against the Pelicans, where his production mimicked the rest of the team in overall production. While this stat line is an aberration for Richardson, it would certainly help things out if the Heat could get healthy.

Richardson tallied 24 points (11-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five assists, four rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 36 minutes during Friday's 113-101 victory over Dallas.

Richardson's hot play continued Friday, adding another 20 point game to his resume. He has been the best player for the Heat over the past two weeks as they continue to put up victories in a tight Eastern Conference. After a slow start to the season, he has turned things around and has been a second-round player over the last two weeks, rewarding those owners who showed patience.

Richardson recorded 19 points (6-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six assists, four rebounds, and one steal in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 90-89 win over the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

Richardson continues to enjoy a breakout month, posting December averages of 17.5 points (on 53.4 percent shooting), 3.5 boards, 2.5 threes, 2.2 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.0 block in 34.4 minutes after struggling badly during October and November. Richardson's six dimes were a season high, and he had just gone for a career-high 28 points on Saturday against the Clippers before dropping another 26 points on Monday versus the Hawks.

Richardson tallied 17 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block in 29 minutes during Monday's 107-82 victory over the Grizzlies.

EDGE Analysis

Richardson continued his offensive resurgence Monday, adding another 17 points on just 9 field-goal attempts. He has now scored in double-figures in six of his last seven games while adding 16 three-pointers over the same stretch. Owners would love to see him recording some more defensive stats, and hopefully, this will come in the next game against Portland on Wednesday.

Richardson scored 27 points (11-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT) while adding two rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in 35 minutes during Friday's 105-100 win over the Hornets.

EDGE Analysis

It was a career-best scoring night for the 24-year-old, but Richardson had been showing signs of breaking out prior to Friday, scoring 28 points while going 5-for-13 from three-point range over the previous two games. He's not yet consistent enough to warrant a roster spot in most fantasy leagues, but in deeper formats the third-year wing could be worth a speculative pickup.

Richardson (eye) will play in Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

Richardson was forced to leave Sunday's game against the Pacers after being poked in the eye, but has since been cleared of any further damage. He should take on his normal role in the starting lineup and is in no danger of being limited at all. Richardson has shot just 2-for-12 from the three-point line over the last two games, so he'll look to show some improvement in that area going into Wednesday's contest.

Richardson left in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Pacers after getting poked in the eye and will not return.

EDGE Analysis

Richardson had put up 15 points in 30 minutes before exiting Sunday's contest, and due to the blowout nature, there was no chance the guard was going to return whether he was healthy enough or not. With two days off before the next game, Richardson should have plenty of time to recover and be able to return for Wednesday's matchup with the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

Richardson tied for the team-high in minutes Saturday night with Goran Dragic and has now averaged 35.9 minutes and 12.8 points over the five games to open the season. He shouldn't normally be blanked in the rebound and steal columns on the stat sheet, so expect Saturday night to be the floor of his performances for the upcoming season.
