Goodwin has shown plenty of flashes this season when he gets opportunities, and he got a big one Friday as he cleared 30 minutes for the first time since Dec. 12. He could be an intriguing fantasy pickup down the stretch if Bradley Beal (knee) and Kyle Kuzma (ankle) miss additional time.

Goodwin finished Wednesday's 118-104 loss to the Nuggets with 12 points (5-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist in 17 minutes.

However, the situation has changed for Goodwin over the last two games, as he's taken on minutes loads in the teens while going an impressive 7-for-12 from the field between those contests. The absence of Kyle Kuzma (ankle) for the past two contests and Bradley Beal (knee) for Wednesday's game may have played a factor in Goodwin's boosted playing time, so his role will be keeping an eye on once the Wizards are back to full strength.

Goodwin was efficient from the field and posted solid numbers in other categories, but unfortunately his efforts were not enough to carry the Go-Go to victory. Goodwin was the only player who ended up with more than 15 points in this contest, and he has reached that mark in each of his three regular-season appearances with Capital City.

Goodwin delivered 20 points (5-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals across 33 minutes in Sunday's 111-107 loss to the Charge.

EDGE Analysis

Goodwin was not efficient from the field, as evidenced by the fact that he needed 15 shots to score 20 points, but he still contributed enough in other categories to end up with a decent outing in a tight loss for Capital City. Goodwin has spent time with the Wizards and this was his first game in the G League during the regular season, so expect him to be one of Capital City's go-to players as long as he remains in this level.

Goodwin will come off the bench for Monday's matchup with the Warriors, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.

EDGE Analysis

Goodwin will return to the second unit Monday after receiving a spot start in place of Monte Morris (hamstring) last time out. With Morris back and Bradley Beal (hamstring) still sidelined, Goodwin should continue to see significant action off the bench.

Goodwin logged five points (2-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 26 minutes during Friday's 112-108 loss to the Knicks.

Goodwin was inserted into the starting lineup Friday, replacing Monte Morris, who was ruled out due to a hamstring issue. Despite the increase in role, Goodwin failed to produce, ending the night with a team-worst minus-20 plus/minus. There is no word on whether Morris will miss additional time, but if that is the case, Goodwin could very well stick in the opening unit. With that said, managers may be better off targeting Delon Wright, who profiles as a better per-minute option thanks to his ability to contribute across multiple categories.

Goodwin will start Friday's game against the Knicks.
