Green was on restrictions, however, so it will be interesting to see how the backcourt rotation shapes up. Over Goodwin's last eight games, he's seeing 21.0 minutes per contest with 7.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.1 three-pointers.

Goodwin closed Thursday's 108-105 loss to the Pistons with seven points (3-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals across 32 minutes.

Devin Booker (ankle) was sidelined for Thursday's loss, causing extra usage and minutes to be spread around. While Goodwin didn't see a massive usage bump, he was out there for 32 minutes -- his most run since Nov. 23. He showcased his excellent rebounding ability from the guard spot, not to mention his defensive ability. His pathway to minutes may become more complicated once Jalen Green (hamstring) finally makes his return. That seems like it will happen sometime this month.

Goodwin contributed 11 points (4-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), eight rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals across 23 minutes during Wednesday's 117-98 win over the Grizzlies.

Goodwin turned in another strong performance, continuing his recent productive stretch. In three appearances over the past week, he has averaged 16.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 4.7 three-pointers. While some of what he has been doing is likely unsustainable, he does hold some streaming value as long as he is hot, even in standard fantasy formats.

Goodwin supplied 26 points (9-16 FG, 8-13 3Pt) and four rebounds over 31 minutes during Sunday's 108-105 victory over the Thunder.

Goodwin led the team with a career-high 26 points in Sunday's comeback win over the Thunder. The 27-year-old guard caught fire from deep, knocking down eight three-pointers, tied for the most by a bench player in a game this season. He's been a consistent piece of the Phoenix rotation, playing at least 20 minutes in nine straight games, averaging 10.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.1 threes and 1.2 steals over 25 minutes per contest during that stretch.

Goodwin accumulated 14 points (6-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals over 28 minutes during Monday's 115-101 victory over the Wizards.

Goodwin scored in double figures for a second straight game following another decent shooting performance. He's buried two or more treys in four of his last five matchups and has added value in the steals column by collecting seven swipes over this stretch.

His spot in the rotation remains safe for now, though it sounds like Jalen Green (hamstring) is inching closer to returning, and Grayson Allen (knee) appears to be just day-to-day. Over his last nine outings, Goodwin has averaged 9.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.6 steals in 22.7 minutes per game.

With Devin Booker (groin) slated to return in the coming games, Goodwin's playing time will likely decrease, but the latter has proved he can be a contributor in Phoenix's rotation and should still maintain a sizable role off the bench even with Booker back in the mix.
