John Wall hit 5-of-10 shots and a 3-pointer for 14 points, five rebounds, 10 assists and a steal in Tuesday's loss to the Mavericks.
He's dealing with a sore back and is playing through it. Once his back feels better, his stats should improve quickly. Despite the back problems, he's scored in double digits in all seven games and recorded a double-double in three of them.

John Wall (back spasms) shot 3-of-12 from the field in Sunday's loss to the Thunder, finishing with 10 points, five rebounds, eight assists and four turnovers.
We'll keep an eye on his ailing back but one quiet game is no cause for concern, especially since Wall came into this game averaging career-highs in points (19.6), three-pointers (1.8), assists (9.8) and steals (2.4). The defeat dropped the Wizards' record to 2-4, last place in the Southeast division.

John Wall practiced on Sunday afternoon with his back spasms.
It's been an issue for him, but it hasn't reflected on his playing time or performance. Wall is tied for second in assists per game with 9.8 and he's also scoring at a 19.6 points-per-game clip. He has top-10 upside in fantasy, especially with his 1.8 triples per game so far this year.

John Wall handed out 14 assists in Friday's overtime win against the Nets to go with 17 points, six rebounds, four steals, one 3-pointer and four turnovers in 43 minutes.
He woke up Friday morning with back spasms, but it didn't look to be an issue during the game. Wall has become a more well-rounded point guard and he trailed just Chris Paul in assist opportunities and passes per game before tonight. After tonight, Wall is up to 9.8 assists per game to go with his 19.6 points per game. He's becoming one of the best point guards in the league.

John Wall needed a hot pack for his ailing back during Wednesday's win vs. the 76ers, but he said his injury felt a lot looser than it did a few days ago.
The Wizards' star point guard was able to overcome the discomfort to the tune of 24 points, nine assists, a steal, a block, and five 3-pointers during the win, so this doesn't sound like anything serious.

John Wall returned to action on Sunday after missing one practice due to back spasms -- he scored 11 points to go with four rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 39 minutes.
He also had five turnovers and it was an overall quiet game for Wall, but at least his back spasms have subsided and he said he was fine after the game. The Wizards have two days off before kicking off their three-game week at Philadelphia on Wednesday.

John Wall (back spasms) felt good during shootaround and expects to play on Sunday.
Wall didn't seem very optimistic after skipping Saturday's practice, but he shouldn't have any limitations now that his spasms have subsided. Nene (calf) hasn't recovered as quickly and he's now considered doubtful to suit up vs. Miami.
