John Wall double-doubled with 19 points, four rebounds, 11 assists and two steals on 7-of-12 shooting in Wednesday's loss.
Strangely, a starting lineup made up of Wall, Bradley Beal (20 points) and Trevor Ariza (13 points, 6 assists) didn't hit a 3-pointer tonight, as the group combined to hit miss all 12 attempts. Martell Webster hit three of them off the bench, but that's about all he's good for these days. This was Wall's third double-double in his last five games and he hasn't scored in single digits since way back on Nov. 29.

John Wall had 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals, a block and three 3-pointers on 6-of-19 shooting in Tuesday's win over the Warriors.
Wall's shot comes and goes, but he's in the midst of a fine season. The Wizards had 18 turnovers and the Warriors had 19 tonight, while the Pacers committed a grand total of four in their win over the Lakers. Wall is shooting just 35 percent and averaging 4.0 turnovers in his last five games, but is still coming through with 17.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 2.0 steals, 0.8 blocks and 1.2 3-pointers over his last five games. If his shot starts falling, look out.

John Wall admitted to being fatigued during Saturday's disappointing loss to the Jazz, when he scored 13 points on 4-of-14 shooting.
Wall added four assists, one steal and four turnovers and was sluggish throughout the game. "We were running in mud half the game," said coach Randy Wittman. "We've got to figure out ways - on a back-to-back, being tired - of winning a game like this." The loss dropped Washington below .500 once again, and they'll look to get even vs. the Warriors on Tuesday.

John Wall handed out 12 assists against the Suns on Friday with 18 points, three boards, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers.
His assists totals were dropping a little bit, but he's had double-doubles in each of his last two -- Wednesday's game was a triple-double. Wall's increased dimes to go with career numbers in triples and steals have launched his fantasy value to new heights.

John Wall wasn't impressed with the second triple-double of his career and wants to play more team-first basketball.
When asked about his triple-double, Wall gave his best McKayla Maroney impresseion and said, "That don't mean nothing. I didn't move the ball like we're supposed to in the first half and only had [seven] assists at halftime and nine turnovers. That's not the way to lead your team." Wall is obviously being a little to hard on himself after a loss as his 8.5 assists per game are currently fourth in the NBA. The fourth-year player has solidified himself as one of the best fantasy points guards, so while he may not be impressed by his triple-double, his owners aren't complaining.

John Wall logged the second triple-double of his career on Wednesday during a 113-111 overtime loss to the Celtics, scoring 28 points with 11 boards, 10 assists and three steals in 44 minutes.
He shot 9-of-29 from the field, turned the ball over six times and didn't make a trey, so it wasn't all good. Shooting percentages were not really an issue for Wall as of late with each of his previous five games having a shooting percentage of at least 42.9 percent from the field. Over his last five, he's averaged 24.8 points, 5.8 boards, 8.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 triples. He's a No. 1 fantasy guard.

John Wall scored just 14 points against the Sixers on Monday during a 107-99 win, adding five boards, five assists, two blocks and one steal in 31 minutes.
Wall was coming off a 34-point explosion on Saturday and the Sixers have been the friendliest matchup for point guards in fantasy hoops, so he probably disappointed quite a few owners today. He is having a nice month in January, entering today's game with averages of 20.1 points, 4.1 boards, 7.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.4 triples. Wall is a complete point guard at age 23.

John Wall scored a game-high 34 points against the Pistons on Saturday with four boards, six assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.
After really struggling, Wall is hot again with each of his last three games including a shooting percentage of at least 50 percent. His assists have gone down to just 7.5 per game, but there have been some bad matchups for him. He's one of the league's best point guards at age 23.

John Wall recorded his 12th double-double of the season on Saturday with 23 points and 10 assists, but the Wizards' comeback attempt fell short in a 114-107 defeat.
He came in shooting 34.8 percent in his past six games and was just 8-of-22 from the field vs. Houston, but owners won't complain with his points or assists, and he rounded out his evening with one 3-pointer and a couple of steals.
