Collins was a late addition to the injury report, which isn't an encouraging sign for his availability ahead of tipoff at 9:00 p.m. ET. If the 28-year-old forward is ultimately ruled out, Nicolas Batum could see increased playing time, while Kobe Brown might enter the Clippers rotation.

Collins posted 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals over 29 minutes during Tuesday's 128-108 victory over the Rockets.

Replacing Ivica Zubac (ankle) will be a tall order, so Collins and Brook Lopez will have to step up and take pressure off Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, who are expected to do most of the heavy lifting during the absence. Collins' result was serviceable, but he needs higher rebound and scoring totals to improve his effectiveness. He showed he was capable with a 17/12 double-double against the Lakers earlier in the week, and he did well enough despite Alperen Sengun's imposing presence in the paint during Tuesday's victory.

Collins chipped in 17 points (7-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 32 minutes during Saturday's 103-88 victory over the Lakers.

EDGE Analysis

Ivica Zubac showed significant signs of injury before finally exiting the game, and Collins was exceptional in holding down the frontcourt in his absence. Although the team has Brook Lopez available to step in, Collins has begun to show consistency after suffering through a tough scoring slump in mid-November. Collins was brought in to help Zubac in the interior, but the veteran has plenty of experience holding down the five by himself. Zubac's potential absence could allow Collins to replicate some of the magic he showed in his days with Atlanta and Utah.

Collins accumulated 20 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 28 minutes during Thursday's 122-101 loss to Oklahoma City.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran big man reached 20 points in a game for only the second time this season, falling just short of the season-high 21 he scored against the Mavericks on Nov. 29. Collins is struggling to make a consistent impact in his first campaign with the Clippers. Through seven games in December, he's averaging 13.1 points, 3.6 boards, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 27.1 minutes while shooting a woeful 19.2 percent (5-for-26) from beyond the arc.

Collins closed with nine points (3-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two assists and two steals across 24 minutes during Thursday's 115-113 loss to the Rockets.

EDGE Analysis

Collins has had little impact on the Clippers this season. Even though he's been relegated to a secondary role on offense behind James Harden, Ivica Zubac and Kawhi Leonard, Collins has also failed to capitalize on the opportunities he's had as a starter. While there has been a slight uptick in his numbers of late, Collins has surpassed the 15-point mark just three times over his last 10 games. He's averaging 12.6 points and 4.5 boards per game over that span. On the season, Collins is averaging 12.1 points per game, which would be his lowest mark since his rookie year in 2017-18.

Collins had 15 points (6-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 115-92 victory over the Hawks.

EDGE Analysis

Collins has been key for the Clippers as of late, averaging 14.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.0 blocks across 32.0 minutes in his last five games. He figures to hold down the power forward spot until Derrick Jones (knee) returns.

Collins supplied 21 points (9-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 36 minutes during Saturday's 114-110 loss to Dallas.

EDGE Analysis

Collins missed only one shot in the narrow loss and contributed his best total of the season. Although his role was unclear earlier in the season, he's synced up well with Ivica Zubac in the frontcourt, providing size and adept defense to an interior that no longer needs extensive baseline work from Kawhi Leonard.

Collins finished Tuesday's 135-118 loss to the Lakers with 18 points (6-8 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist across 34 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Collins hit a season-high four three-pointers Tuesday, but his offensive output has been very inconsistent recently, averaging just 9.9 points on 42.3 percent from the field and 26.9 percent from three in his last nine games. With the slew of injuries the Clippers are currently dealing with, Collins may be asked to step up until the team gets healthier.

Collins had nine points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one block and one steal over 25 minutes during Thursday's 129-101 loss to the Magic.

EDGE Analysis

Collins continues to be rather disappointing from a fantasy perspective. On the year so far, the veteran forward has averaged 11.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 25.3 minutes per contest in 15 games. Collins could still be acclimating to his new surroundings during his first season with Los Angeles, and he's at least shooting a strong 50.4 percent from the field.

Collins recorded eight points (3-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two steals and three turnovers in 24 minutes during Friday's 133-127 double overtime win over Dallas.

EDGE Analysis

While Collins has been starting the past three games, he hasn't done much with the opportunity, posting meager averages of 6.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block per game. Collins was benched down the stretch of this one, and didn't make a single appearance during either overtime period, so it'll be interesting to see if he sticks as a starter for Sunday's game in Boston.
