Sims finished Tuesday's 119-118 overtime loss to the Pacers in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with four points (2-2 FG) and five rebounds across 11 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Sims was used sparingly by the Bucks during the regular season and the playoffs. In 53 regular-season appearances, Sims produced 1.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game. Sims, along with veteran center Brook Lopez, will both hit the free agent market this offseason.

Sims (thumb) played 10 minutes Saturday in the Bucks' 117-98 loss to the Pacers in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series, finishing with two rebounds and one block.
EDGE Analysis
After requiring surgery March 17 to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb and missing the final 15 games of the regular season, Sims showed enough improvement over the past week to gain clearance for the Bucks' postseason opener. Though Bobby Portis returned from his 25-game suspension at the tail end of the regular season to bolster the Bucks' frontcourt depth, head coach Doc Rivers was still able to find a spot in the rotation for Sims, who handled a light role off the bench while starting center Brook Lopez was limited to 21 minutes. Unless a 20-to-25-minute role becomes the norm for Lopez, Sims likely won't see his role increase as the series unfolds, and he could even be at risk of falling out of the rotation entirely. Damian Lillard has been cleared to resume on-court work after he had been diagnosed in March with a blood clot in his right calf, and if he's back in action for Game 2 on Tuesday, he would likely poach minutes from Sims and a few other supporting players.

Sims (thumb) is not listed on the Bucks' injury report for Saturday's Game 1 against the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Sims underwent thumb surgery March 17 and missed the remainder of the regular season, but he's available for the start of the Bucks' postseason run. The 26-year-old's role in the playoffs remains uncertain, as Bobby Portis served as Brook Lopez's primary backup to close the regular season, but Sims' availability is still a noteworthy development.

Sims (thumb) is expected to be available for Saturday's first-round playoff game against the Pacers, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
After undergoing thumb surgery in mid-March, Sims participated in most of Tuesday's practice and appears to be on the cusp of returning to the court. Milwaukee's official injury report should provide an official designation on the 2021 second-rounder's status when it becomes available. That said, Sims would likely be facing a minutes restriction if he's cleared to play Saturday, and Bobby Portis has since rejoined the Bucks following a suspension to play the backup center role behind Brook Lopez.

Sims underwent surgery Monday to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb and is expected to be sidelined for approximately four weeks, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sims popped up on the Bucks' injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Thunder, but he still managed to play 12 minutes and log four rebounds, one assist and one block in the loss. The injury was severe enough to warrant a procedure, but Sims is expected to be fully recovered by the start of the playoffs. Sims' absence could lead to Giannis Antetokounmpo playing more at center when Brook Lopez is on the bench, as well as more minutes off the bench for Chris Livingston and Pete Nance.

Sims (thumb) is available for Sunday's game against the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Sims is working through a right thumb sprain, and head coach Doc Rivers told reporters Sunday that the injury is severe enough that surgery is considered a possibility, per Justin Garcia of Locked on Bucks. Sims will continue to play for now, but how his thumb responds Sunday will be a factor on whether he undergoes a procedure or continues to play through the injury.

Sims is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Thunder due to a right thumb sprain.
EDGE Analysis
The right thumb sprain is a new injury for Sims, who has made 13 consecutive appearances for Milwaukee. The big man has averaged 2.6 points and 4.9 rebounds across 15.2 minutes per contest in that 13-game span.

Sims chipped in four points (2-2 FG), 11 rebounds and one assist in 18 minutes during Thursday's 126-106 win over the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
This game was over in a hurry, allowing Sims to enjoy some garbage time to close this game out. As long as Brook Lopez is healthy, there's not much to like about Sims' fantasy appeal -- he's averaging just 15.1 minutes over his last 10 outings.

Sims (recently traded) is available for Friday's game versus the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
Sims has been upgraded from questionable to available Friday, as the trade that sent him from the Knicks to the Bucks has been finalized. However, the 26-year-old big man is unlikely to receive significant playing time in Milwaukee's frontcourt.

Sims (recently traded) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
Sims is questionable to make his Bucks debut after having been traded to Milwaukee on Wednesday. The big man will likely see a slight bump in playing time compared to the 10.8 minutes per game he averaged with the Knicks, and he should provide valuable depth at the center position behind Brook Lopez (knee).
