Dowtin logged zero points (0-2 FG) across five minutes during the Toronto Raptors' 125-116 loss Sunday against New York. After said defeat, they sent him to their G League team. Dowtin is not expected to stay there long but should be recording more efficient outputs than the one he gave Wednesday. Still, he could be an all-around option for the 905 while away from their NBA affiliate.

Dowtin logged 12 points (5-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, four rebounds and three steals across 25 minutes during the 905's 122-119 win Monday versus Capital City.

EDGE Analysis

After they used Dowtin for two minutes on Jan. 6 against New York, the Toronto Raptors sent him to their G League team. Dowtin's versatile line helped the 905 log a second win across their last five games. If the guard continues being part of the 905, he will be valued but is expected to have a tough time starting in place of either Dalano Banton or Saben Lee.

Dowtin has been recalled by the Raptors and is available for Friday's game versus the Nets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Dowtin continues to dominate his G league opposition and has even produced a bit on the NBA level when called upon. He's still likely to see most of his playing time with 905, with whom he's averaged 22.0 points, 6.6 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals over 36.6 minutes through his first five appearances.

Dowtin closed Monday's game against the Pistons with four points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one block over 15 minutes.

Dowtin hadn't made an appearance for the Raptors since Nov. 2 against the Spurs, and he'd totaled just eight minutes heading into Monday's matchup. While Dowtin checked in second on the team in shot attempts behind Reggie Perry, he was more efficient than Perry and led the game in scoring. Dowtin looks set to be a primary option for scoring or the G League Raptors this season.

Dowtin had four points (2-2 FG), one rebound and one assist in five minutes during Monday's 139-109 win over the Hawks.

Dowtin made his first appearance of the season in Monday's blowout win. As long as Toronto's backcourt remains relatively healthy, Dowtin is unlikely to see any minutes in non-blowouts.
