Dowtin signed a 10-day hardship contract with the Bucks on Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Dowtin, who was signed to a two-way contract, made four appearances for the Warriors this season, totaling 28 minutes, six points, seven rebounds and three assists. It's unclear if he will be available for Milwaukee's showdown with the Nets on Friday, but when he does officially join the team, he'll likely serve as a depth option in the backcourt while Jrue Holiday, George Hill, Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton remain sidelined due to COVID-19 protocols.

Golden State will now have an extra two-way spot available, since Dowtin had been occupying one all season along with point guard Chris Chiozza. Dowtin only appeared in four games with the NBA team, averaging 1.5 points and 1.8 rebounds in 7.0 minutes per contest. Unless he's claimed off waivers by another NBA squad, Dowtin will presumably stick around in the Golden State organization with its G League affiliate in Santa Cruz.

Dowtin tallied 14 points (5-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 assists and seven rebounds during Thursday's loss to Agua Caliente.

Dowtin finished with a spectacular outing across 33 minutes of action, as the guard nearly accomplished a triple-double while leading the team in assists with a new season high. It was also Dowtin's second straight double-double, and after Thursday's performance, the Rhode Island product is averaging 13.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists across the last three matchups.

Dowtin finished with 10 points (4-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal during Saturday's loss to South Bay.

After scoring a season-low four points Friday against South Bay, Dowtin bounced back and reached double figures offensively for an eighth time in nine appearances. His seven rebounds were also the most he has grabbed dating back to Nov. 17, and his two-made threes snapped a recent 0-of-7 skid.

Dowtin tallied 16 points (6-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine assists, four rebounds and three steals during Friday's win over the Ignite.

Dowtin nearly finished with a double-double, as the guard finished just one assist shy of accomplishing the feat. His nine assists tied a season high, and he also reached the 16-point mark for a third straight game.

Dowtin managed 17 points (4-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals during Wednesday's loss to Salt Lake City.

Dowtin mustered double figures offensively for a fifth straight performance, as the Rhode Island product struggled offensively but still reached the 17-point mark. The guard also finished just two rebounds shy of a double-double. Dowtin has registered at least 13 points in each game so far.

Dowtin registered 18 points (6-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block during Friday's win over the Blue.

This was Dowtin's third straight performance with at least 18 points, as the guard continues to play well offensively to begin the G League season. Dowtin has also recorded at least four assists and five rebounds in each of his three games played this year.

Dowtin capped off a superb weekend by once again leading Santa Cruz offensively. It was his second straight game reaching the 20-point mark while also grabbing at least five rebounds and dishing out at least four assists. He's currently averaging 26.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists this year.

Dowtin recorded 33 points (12-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal during Friday's loss to Stockton.

Dowtin erupted offensively during the G League season opener, as the guard poured in 33 points across 57.1 percent shooting to lead the team. Dowtin's 21 field-goal attempts were also second on Santa Cruz, only teammate Axel Toupane had more (22). The former Rhode Island standout also contributed well in rebounds and assists to cap off an impressive performance.

The Warriors claimed Dowtin off waivers Monday and converted his contract to their vacant two-way roster spot, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.

Dowtin averaged 4.7 points in 8.7 minutes per game across three preseason appearances for the Magic. The 6-foot-3 scoring guard had a 21-point performance against the Kings while playing for the Warriors during Summer League. He will likely spend the majority of the 2021-22 campaign at the G League level.
