The 26-year-old guard appeared in 44 outings with Osceola last season, during which he averaged 14.1 points, 3.8 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals across 27.6 minutes per game.

Smart was waived from his two-way deal Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smart's two-way slot will instead be filled by Kenneth Lofton, who was recently let go by the Grizzlies. Despite Smart's two-way status, he had logged only one NBA minute this season, and he will likely remain an important piece for the 76ers' G League affiliate unless another team picks him up.

The 76ers converted Smart's Exhibit 10 deal to a two-way contract Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smart will join undrafted rookies Terquavion Smith and Azuolas Tubelis as the 76ers' three two-way players. The 24-year-old guard last saw NBA action in 2021-22, when he made 17 appearances between the Heat and Bucks and averaged 3.0 points and 1.4 rebounds in 11.8 minutes. Though he'll be eligible to suit up for at least 50 of the 76ers' 82 games while under the two-way deal, Smart is likely to see the majority of his playing time with the G League's Delaware Blue Coats.

Smart posted 23 points (9-17 FG, 5-9 3Pt), nine assists, three steals and two rebounds in 28 minutes during Sunday's 117-114 Summer League win over New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
Smart was efficient from the field and posted team highs in assists and rebounds. Across his first four matchups in Vegas, the undrafted product out of LSU averaged 14.8 points and 5.3 assists in 27.9 minutes per game, and Smart's performance Sunday will only boost those numbers.

EDGE Analysis
Smart didn't have his best shooting performance and struggled from deep, but he still ended up as one of five Birmingham players that scored in double digits in this one. Smart has made 30 appearances for the Squadron in the regular season and is averaging 14.0 points per game.

Smart delivered eight points (3-12 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds, two assists and a steal across 24 minutes in Monday's win over Iowa.
EDGE Analysis
Smart had a rough outing from the field and ended with more shots (12) than points scored (eight). The shooting woes are real for the former Louisiana State standout, and he has shot less than 40 percent from the field in each of his last four appearances.

Smart recorded 16 points (7-17 FG, 2-10 3Pt), four rebounds and an assist across 33 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's loss to the Hustle.
EDGE Analysis
Smart finally cleared the 15-point mark, something he hadn't done since scoring 22 points in a loss to Stockton back on Jan. 22, but his efforts were not enough to lift Birmingham to victory. Despite the inconsistencies and the shooting woes, Smart is averaging 14.5 points per game this season.
