For the first time all season, the Cavaliers weren't missing any players due to injuries, and a consequence, Cunningham saw his playing time disappear completely. That's likely to remain the case on a regular basis for Cunningham, who wasn't in line for a large role when the season began anyway after narrowly beating out undrafted rookie Quinn Cook for the Cavs' final roster spot.

Cunningham moved to a bench role and saw just one minute of playing time in Tuesday's 89-77 win over the Celtics.

Though Iman Shumpert was forced out of the game with a groin injury, the return of a healthy J.R. Smith (illness) conspired to severely limit Cunningham's minutes. The impending returns of Shumpert and Kyrie Irving (kneecap) could result in Cunningham seeing his rotation spot eliminated completely by the time the weekend approaches.

Cunningham recorded six points (1-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT), three rebounds, and two assists in 23 minutes during the Cavaliers' 111-76 win versus the Magic on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Cunningham didn't shoot the ball particularly well from the floor or the free-throw line. Furthermore, Iman Shumpert (wrist) earned 25 minutes in his season debut, and J.R. Smith (illness) sat out Friday. All things considering, it will be difficult for Cunningham to continue earning 13 minutes per game once Shumpert and Smith both return to full health.

Cunningham will draw the start Friday, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

EDGE Analysis

With J.R. Smith out due to an illness, Cunningham will have the opportunity to start. Some expected Iman Shumpert, who is making his season debut to get the call, but Cleveland likely will want to ease him back into action. Cunningham is averaging 3.8 points in 13 minutes per game, and will look to take advantage of this starting chance.

Cunningham contributed seven points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), one rebound, and one steal across 35 minutes in Tuesday's 105-100 victory over the Trail Blazers.

EDGE Analysis

Cunningham was one of the primary beneficiaries of coach David Blatt's decision to roll with a small-ball lineup for much of the second half, as the reserve guard picked up 30-plus minutes for the second straight contest. It's uncertain at this time if Blatt plans on sticking with Cunningham as such an integral rotation cog, and the 24-year-old probably needs to provide a little more production in order to help his cause. He's scored a modest 18 points over the last two games, despite the large workloads.

Cunningham scored 11 points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT) while adding two steals and an assist in 32 minutes off the bench during Saturday's loss to the Heat.

EDGE Analysis

After seeing just two minutes over the previous four games combined, Cunningham got plenty of run Saturday with LeBron James in street clothes, but he didn't make a big impact. James will be back in the lineup Tuesday against the Blazers, so expect Cunningham to return to the end of the bench.

Cunningham will start at point guard Wednesday against the Raptors, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

EDGE Analysis

With Matthew Dellavedova (calf) ruled out and Mo Williams (ankle) on an undisclosed minutes limit, Cunningham will get the unexpected starting nod Wednesday. Although buyer beware, because Cunningham's season high for points is only 12, even though he's played at least 20 minutes in three games this year.

Cunningham managed just four points in his 27 minutes on the court Monday, but did grab three rebounds and two assists against Orlando.

EDGE Analysis

Cunningham has seen increased minutes in the last three contests for Cleveland, and his 27 minutes Monday were the most he's seen in the 2015-16 season to this point. It's been more likely for the shooting guard to see closer to 15 minutes on a given night, but the health issues Cleveland continues to endure allow for Cunningham to be a solid scoring option off the bench.

Cunningham moved back to a bench role in Sunday's win over the Pacers, finishing with five points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt) over nine minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Cunningham was afforded his first NBA start Friday against the Sixers, but after failing to score a point in 20 minutes, coach David Blatt opted to switch things up and use Richard Jefferson as his starting shooting guard for Sunday's tilt. With Jefferson garnering over 20 more minutes Sunday, it doesn't appear Cunningham will enjoy a large role off the Cleveland bench going forward. In fact, Cunningham's role is only likely to become smaller once J.R. Smith (knee) and Iman Shumpert (wrist) return to action.

Cunningham started at shooting guard for the Cavaliers Thursday against Philadelphia, but did not score in 20 minutes. He had a rebound, an assist, a steal, and one missed shot.

EDGE Analysis

Cunningham replaced Richard Jefferson in the starting lineup, but Jefferson played more minutes and had a better game (17 points). The 6-4 guard could be paired with Mo Williams to offset some defensive concerns, but he likely won't produce enough offense to be fantasy relevant.
