The journeyman guard, who's seen action in 84 NBA games with six different teams since he was drafted in 2012, agreed to terms with the Warriors on Saturday. There's a good chance that Cunningham ultimately ends up in Santa Cruz.

Cunningham signed a contract Tuesday with the Jiangsu Tongxi Monkey Kings of the Chinese Basketball Association, Sportando reports.

Cunningham, a first-round draft pick in 2012, appeared in 44 games last season with the Cavaliers and Bucks, with whom he averaged 2.7 points and 0.9 rebounds in 9.3 minutes per game. The 25-year-old was let go by the Bucks in late March when his 10-day contract expired, and was unable to attract interest from NBA teams once he became a free agent. By heading to China, Cunningham will have an opportunity to showcase himself in a more focal offensive role before potentially returning to the NBA late in 2016-17 when the CBA season ends next spring.

Cunningham won't receive a second 10-day contract from the Bucks, according to freelance reporter Andrew Gruman.

Cunningham made four appearances with the Bucks and mostly failed to distinguish himself, as he shot 28.6 percent from the field while averaging four points and 2.3 rebounds over 13.8 minutes. Most of Cunningham's sparse minutes should go to Rashad Vaughn, who was recalled from the D-League's Canton Charge prior to Saturday's game against the Hornets. Cunningham figures to return to the D-League now that he's a free agent.

Cunningham signed a 10-day deal with the Bucks on Wednesday.

The Bucks are able to bring Cunningham in using the NBA's hardship exception, which temporarily grants them an extra roster spot to compensate for injuries. Cunningham, who was traded from Cleveland to Orlando at the deadline as part of the Channing Frye deal, was waived by the Magic on Feb. 22 and has been with the Idaho Stampede of the D-League for the past few weeks. The 24-year-old posted averages of 17.3 points, 54.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds in three games for the Stampede and will now join his sixth NBA team since being selected with the 24th overall pick in the 2012 draft.

Cunningham was waived by the Magic on Monday.

The Magic never really intended to hold on to Cunningham after acquiring him from the Cavaliers in a three-team deal Thursday, as the team was only motivated to get involved with the trade in order to pick up a second-round pick. Cunningham never saw the court during his brief stay with the Magic, and will now look to pursue an opportunity with another squad.

Cunningham is inactive for Friday's matchup with the Mavericks.

EDGE Analysis

Cunningham was traded to the Magic on Thursday but will have to wait to take the court with his new team. There has been speculation that the Magic will release Cunningham in order to free up more cap space. If he does stick around, look for his debut to come on Sunday when the Magic face the Pacers.

Cunningham is simply a throw-in in the deal, and he's expected to be waived by the Magic. Orlando looks to have entered cap-clearing mode, with the goal of freeing up upwards of $40 million in space this summer. In moving Frye and Tobias Harris this week, the team is now in position, assuming it renounces several cap holds, to be a major player in free agency come July. As far as Cunningham goes, he'll look to catch on with another team but could ultimately land in the D-League if there's little interest.

Cunningham has appeared in three of the Cavaliers' six games in February.

EDGE Analysis

Even in the games in which he has appeared, Cunningham has seen a combined total of five minutes, so it's clear interim coach Tyronn Lue doesn't view the 24-year-old as a rotation member. Though Matthew Dellavedova (hamstring) has been sidelined for much of the month, it's been Mo Williams rather than Cunningham who has entered the mix as the Cavs' second-string point guard.

Cunningham played two scoreless minutes in the win over Detroit on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Cunningham is getting dribs and drabs of playing time, but not enough to produce any numbers. He has not scored since Jan. 18 and has played a combined 12 games in Cleveland's last six contests.

Cunningham contributed nine points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, and one assist in 12 minutes during the Cavaliers' 132-98 loss versus the Warriors on Monday.

EDGE Analysis

Cunningham has appeared in six of the Cavaliers' nine games in January, but he is averaging only five minutes per game over that span. As a result, he is not worth targeting in fantasy leagues.
