Young was recalled by the Celtics on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Young was assigned to the D-League's Main Red Claws on Mar. 10, but quickly recalled by the Celtics on Sunday. He will replace Jordan Mickey on the roster. While this is obviously good news for Young do not expect him to enter the teams rotation anytime soon. He does not hold any value in season long or DFS leagues.

Young has been assigned to the D-League's Maine Red Claws on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Young has been sent back to the D-League not a day after being recalled. At this point it is a safe assumption that he has little to no value in most all fantasy leagues. He is buried on the depth chart behind players like Jae Crowder, Avery Bradley, R.J. Hunter, Marcus Smart, Evan Turner, and Terry Rozier.

Young was recalled from the D-League's Maine Red Claws on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Young has been sent to and recalled from the D-League many times this year, so it is no surprise to see the Celtics yet again call his name. Even if the 20-year old guard is on Boston's roster, he still sits behind a plethora of Celtics on the depth chart and doesn't figure to provide any kind of sustained fantasy production in standard or daily leagues.

Young was reassigned to the Maine Red Claws of the D-League on Tuesday, Jay Kings of MassLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Young was recalled a little more than a week ago, but a calf strain prevented him from contributing, and he logged just one total minute in four games during this latest stint with the Celtics. The former Kentucky standout is highly unlikely to make an impact at the NBA level this season, but he's still just 20 years old so he remains early in his overall development.

Young (calf) logged one minute of court time in Saturday's 120-103 loss to the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
Young had been dealing with a calf strain for the last few days, but his deployment in Saturday's contest suggests he's now back to full health. However, as the low minute total indicates, Young isn't a regular part of the Celtics' rotation and figures to go unused in more competitive contests.

Young (calf) sat out practice Tuesday, Scott Souza of the Providence Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Brad Stevens said Young only participated in a few passing drills and is still not able to move well on his strained calf. The Celtics called Young up from the D-League on Monday, but he's not going to be able to practice, he could be sent back to the Maine Red Claws in short order. Boston is off Tuesday before returning to play Wednesday night against Portland, a game for which Young should be considered questionable, though it seems very unlikely he'll play.

Young will not be available Monday against the Jazz due to a calf strain.
EDGE Analysis
Young sustained the injury during his last game with the Maine Red Claws, and he'll land on the inactive list Monday night after being called up from the D-League earlier in the day. Consider the little-used, second-year guard day-to-day.

Young was recalled from the D-League on Monday, Jay King of MassLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 2014 first-round pick is still yet to make a tangible impact at the NBA level, and it's looking increasingly likely that 2015-16 will be nothing more than a second developmental year for Young. The former Kentucky standout doesn't turn 21 until August, though, so the Celtics, with their crowded backcourt, can afford to bring him along as his own pace.

Young was assigned to the D-League's Maine Red Claws on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Young has appeared in just two of the Celtics' nine games thus far in February, and with his role with the parent club unlikely to grow in the near future, the organization determined it was in his best interest to pick up some playing time in the D-League. The second-year guard is averaging just 1.2 points and one rebound over 7.5 minutes through 22 appearances this season.

Young has appeared in just three of the Celtics' 11 games since his Jan. 24 recall from the D-League's Maine Red Claws.
EDGE Analysis
Young has accumulated 10 total minutes of court time over those three appearances, so it's safe to say that he finds himself on the margins of coach Brad Stevens' rotation. Unless the Celtics opt to lessen the workloads of Jae Crowder, Avery Bradley, Marcus Smart, and Evan Turner in the second half, Young won't receive many opportunities to see the floor.
