Sampson returned to the bench against the Pacers Friday. He scored 11 points (4-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added two rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 20 minutes.Sampson was replaced in the starting lineup by Jason Richardson (foot), who was playing his first game in over two years. Richardson is a big unknown at this point in his career, given his age, injury history, and time off the court, but it seems as though he'll have the starting job as long as he is healthy. That's bad news for Sampson, since it makes it harder for him to earn extra playing time.

Sampson spent 24 minutes on the court during a stint in the starting lineup against the Pistons on Wednesday. He compiled 13 points, eight rebounds, and two steals during that outing and will likely be limited to a similar role Friday.

Sampson will get the start Wednesday against the Pistons, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Sampson will step into the lineup after coming off the bench to score four points in 18 minutes Monday versus New Orleans. He figures to see a moderate bump in minutes, but the Sixers' rotations are difficult to predict, so he's probably best avoided in daily formats.

Sampson provided 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt), seven rebounds, add five assists in the loss to Milwaukee on Wednesday. He played 24 minutes. Sampson played just two minutes in the win over Cleveland on Monday, so his minutes are not guaranteed. The rookie out of St. John's had his most productive game of the season and may have earned more minutes in Friday's game against the Nets.

Sampson is coming off the bench Monday versus the Cavaliers, the Philadelphia Daily News reports. The Sixers made an error with their starting five, initially listing Sampson as a starter over Robert Covington. However, Sampson will return to the pine, where he's been a bit player this season (2.4 points and 1.5 rebounds in eight minutes per game).

Sampson will start Monday's outing against the Cavaliers, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Sampson will enter the starting five a small forward for Robert Covington. However, in Sampson's previous seven nods, he's averaged only 5.6 points (on 42 percent shooting), 2.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.7 steals in 20 minutes, making him an unpalatable fantasy option.

Sampson was moved back to the Sixer's bench Friday . He finished with just two minutes. Sampson averaged more than 15 minutes a game over the Sixer's six games prior to Friday. Sampson can be left on the waiver wire in anything but the deepest of leagues. He has yet to score double digit points in any game this season and does not produce enough in other areas to warrant a roster spot.

Sampson will get the start at shooting guard in place of Hollis Thompson (illness) on Sunday. Coach Brett Brown will bring Tony Wroten and K.J. McDaniels off the bench, so Sampson slides into the starting lineup while Thompson sits due to an upper respiratory infection. Sampson played single-digit minutes in seven straight games prior to Friday's contest, when he scored eight points in 20 minutes in a blowout loss to Charlotte.

Sampson came off the bench for 22 minutes to register eight points (3-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, and one block during Thursday's loss the Mavericks. Sampson has unexpectedly been rewarded with a role in Philadelphia's rotation this season as he's now averaging 12.3 minutes on the court over the first eight games of the year. However, his value is limited unless he can consistently spend more time on the court, as of right now, that doesn't seem like it will be happening.
