Sampson will get the start Wednesday night against the Knicks, Tom Moore of Calkins Media reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson has started six games so far this season, including the last three games. However, he has yet to log more than 20 minutes in a game, but that could change Wednesday with Jahlil Okafor suspended for two games. He's averaging 5.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.3 steals, and 0.2 blocks in 14.8 minutes per game through 19 games this season.

Sampson recorded two points (0-5 FG, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, and an assist over 19 minutes in Tuesday's 103-91 win against the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson has started at shooting guard in each of the last three games, but has yet to crack the 20-minute mark during that stretch. It appears 6-foot-8 swingman will continue to see run with the starting five, as Nik Stauskas has struggled with his shot all season and isn't as strong of a defender as Sampson. Even so, Sampson can't be counted on to see heavy minutes on any given night, which renders him fairly useless for DFS purposes.

Sampson will enter the starting lineup Friday in place of Nerlens Noel (knee).
EDGE Analysis
Noel was a late scratch due to soreness in his right knee, so coach Brett Brown will go with Sampson in his place. Sampson has played just 17 combined minutes of the last two games.

Sampson scored seven points (3-3 FG, 1-2 FT) in 15 minutes off the bench Monday against the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson is shooting the ball very well and has been a solid scorer off the bench for Philadelphia early on this season. He's currently averaging 6.3 points (51.9% from the field) in just 15.6 minutes per game. He'll continue to get opportunities for the struggling 76ers' team behind Nik Stauskas and Hollis Thompson.

Sampson played just four minutes in Monday's loss to the Cavaliers. He finished with two points (1-1 FG), two rebounds, and a turnover.
EDGE Analysis
Nik Stauskas appears to be back to full strength after right tibia stress reaction sidelined him for much of training camp, followed by a bout with back spasms that kept him out of the season opener. However, he played 29 minutes while starting at shooting guard Monday, resulting in Sampson assuming a deep bench role. With the prospect of limited minutes likely hanging over Sampson's head until further notice, he'll have difficulty maintaining fantasy value in any format.

Sampson will continue to start at shooting guard Friday against the Jazz, Tom Moore of the Bucks County Courier Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Even though Nick Stauskas (leg) is expected to play Friday, Sampson will get his second-straight start. Stauskas is expected to start in due time but he's still being limited to just 20 minutes off the bench Friday which should allow Sampson to see around the same total he saw in the opener, 27 minutes against Boston.

Sampson will start for Philadelphia in Wednesday's game against Boston, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson will get the start in the regular season opener Wednesday due to Nik Stauskus (leg) being limited with a stress reaction in his right leg. Sampson will likely see significant time on the court with Stauskus limited, and could continue to start until Stauskus gets back to full health.

Sampson is expected to start at shooting guard in Wednesday's season opener against the Celtics if Nik Stauskas (leg) is unable to play, Tom Moore of Calkins Media reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stauskas missed all preseason with a right tibia stress reaction and only participated in about 80 percent of Monday's practice, so unless he's able to show dramatic improvement during Tuesday's session, it looks like the bulk of the minutes at the two-guard spot will go to Sampson. That could still happen even if Stauskas dresses for Wednesday's game, as he'd likely face some sort of minutes restriction that might allow Sampson to see the majority of the playing time. In any event, it doesn't seem as though any extended run Sampson might see would be long lasting, as the Sixers view him primarily as a low-end rotation player.

Sampson (knee) will start Sunday's matchup with the Nets, but will be limited to around 20 minutes of game action, Tom Moore of Calkins Media reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson left Wednesday's practice with knee soreness and it continued to be an issue as the week went on, forcing him to miss Friday's preseason matchup with Wizards. He'll return to the court Sunday and will likely play around 20 minutes. With 10 days still until the season opener, Sampson has plenty of time to get back to full strength.

Sampson left Wednesday's practice early after developing right knee soreness, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Sixers indicated that Sampson was removed from the session as a precautionary measure, which makes sense given how banged up the team has been throughout training camp. Sampson sounds likely to play in Friday's preseason game against the Wizards and is expected to serve in a bench role for Philadelphia during the regular season.
