Sampson averaged 6.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in four Las Vegas Summer League games.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson came off the bench to average only 13.0 minutes per game, preventing him from making more than a nominal impact. His highlight of the week came in a win over the Grizzlies in which he scored 16 points to go with three assists in 16 minutes. As training camp approaches, Sampson will compete for a roster spot with the Nuggets, but at this point he may be on the outside looking in.

Sampson pitched in with 16 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, two steals and a block over 25 minutes in Friday's 102-98 victory over the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old managed a season-high scoring total against a Spurs squad that rested four-fifths of its starting unit. Sampson has impressively shot 50 percent or better in four of the last five games, but has only scored in double digits in three of the last eight contests. While he's demonstrated proficiency from the field, Sampson's limited offensive involvement overall caps his fantasy ceiling.

Sampson provided 11 points (4-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, an assist and two blocks over 22 minutes in Friday's 116-105 victory over the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
The sophomore guard stepped up in the high-scoring victory with his first double-digit scoring effort in a Nuggets uniform. Sampson had remained fairly uninvolved on offense during his previous starts, but his nine shot attempts Friday were notably the most he'd taken in his Denver stint to date. Despite the respectable performance, Sampson's fantasy potential has proven to be fairly limited so far in his career.

Sampson (shoulder) will play in Wednesday's matchup against the 76ers, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson was forced to leave Monday's tilt in Cleveland after straining his left shoulder, and as a result was questionable heading into Wednesday evening. However, the Nuggets have declared that Sampson will take the court against his former squad. Given that Sampson did not need to miss any additional time following the injury, expect him to take on his normal workload in this one.

Sampson (shoulder) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Jessica Camerato of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson suffered a strained left shoulder during Monday's matchup with the Cavaliers after 10 minutes of action. In the case that Sampson has to miss the game, it's likely that Will Barton will get the start in his place and fill up most of his minutes. Mike Miller could also see an increase in playing time in this case. It's likely we will receive more of an update regarding Sampson's status as game time approaches.

Sampson will not return to Monday's matchup with the Cavaliers due to a strained left shoulder, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson suffered the injury after ten minutes of action. He accumulated two points and one rebound during that time frame. The severity of the injury is unknown at this time, but he will likely be day-to-day going forward. The Nuggets next play Wednesday against the 76ers, so expect an update on his status prior to then.

Sampson contributed eight points (3-5 FG, 2-2 FT) and five rebounds over 13 minutes in Thursday's 116-98 loss to the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson is still holding down a starting role at small forward, but he's been little more than a placeholder in the lineup since Danilo Gallinari (ankle) went down with a long-term injury. Sixth man Will Barton has been seeing the majority of the minutes at the position and remains among the Nuggets' leading scorers, and his presence should continue to render Sampson virtually uninteresting in most fantasy formats. Sampson is averaging 4.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists over 18.1 minutes over nine appearances in March.

Sampson scored seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and added two rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes during the Nuggets' 103-96 loss to the Grizzlies on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Making his fourth appearance with the Nuggets, Sampson drew the start on Monday in place of the injured Danilo Gallinari (ankle). It's possible Gallinari will be shut down for the remainder of the season given the team's place in the standings, in which case Sampson could continue to start if coach Mike Malone wants to keep his bench unit in tact. Nevertheless, Sampson can be defined as a project player, and even if he sees considerable playing time on a regular basis, it's unlikely he will be worth rostering outside of deep leagues.

Sampson will draw the start Monday versus the Grizzlies, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
This move comes as a surprise with many considering Will Barton the likely play to replace Danilo Gallinari in the starting lineup, but it appears the Nuggets want to keep Barton comfortable in his reserve role. Sampson will look to take advantage of his first start with the Nuggets since signing with them off waivers. He should have an opportunity to make some noise Monday.

Sampson missed all three of his field-goal attempts (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), recording one rebound, one steal, and one block in 14 minutes during the Nuggets' 114-110 loss to the Kings on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Sampson was signed by the Nuggets after the 76ers waived him in order to make a deal that eventually got nixed by the Pistons due to injury concerns about Donatas Motiejunas. Still, Sampson should not be on fantasy radars given the depth of talent at Denver's wing positions.
