Whiteside posted 14 points (7-7 FG, 0-3 FT), four rebounds, and three blocks in 23 minutes in Monday's 103-114 loss to the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside has had his fair share of struggles from the line throughout his young career, so it's no surprise that he'll put up 0'fers like these. He's been pretty efficient from the field, and maintains his position as a rebounding and blocks specialist -- so grabbing just four rebounds in Monday's game was an anomaly. He's averaging close to 11 rebounds and five blocks per game this season, so owners can expect him to bounce back in that regard moving forward.

Whiteside scored seven points (2-3 FG, 3-7 FT) while adding nine rebounds, five blocks and a steal in just 21 minutes during Saturday's win over the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
The Heat won the game handily with LeBron James (rest) in street clothes for the Cavs, but did so with a smaller lineup, restricting Whiteside's court time. The rest of his production has been spotty, but Whiteside has still recorded multiple blocks in every game this season en route to a league-leading 4.6 a game.

Whiteside recorded 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, and two blocks over 29 minutes in the Heat's 97-95 win over the Thunder on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
For the second consecutive game, Whiteside was limited to under 30 minutes, which resulted in a rather underwhelming line for the big man. It's probably not worth overreacting to a two-game slump, as Whiteside's production on the season has placed him among the NBA's elite fantasy centers. He's averaging 13.4 points (on 59.9 percent shooting), 11 rebounds, 4.5 blocks, and 0.6 steals on the campaign.

Whiteside struggled in Monday's loss to the Celtics with just eight rebounds, three blocks and six points over 26 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't the gaudy rebounding numbers were used to seeing from Whiteside, but at least he continued his streak of three or more blocks in a game. Despite the off night, Whiteside is still posting a nice 11.0 rebounds and 5.0 blocks per game in his past five.

Whiteside went for six points (1-6 FG, 4-6 FT), 14 rebounds, and six blocks in 31 minutes during the Heat's 97-78 win versus the Knicks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
It was Whiteside's 12th straight game with three or more blocks, and he continues to lead the league in denials per game. He can't be counted on for assists, at the free-throw line, or beyond the arc, but Whiteside is a monster on the glass, a terror defensively, and a nightly double-double threat. The Heat are back in action on Monday versus the Celtics.

Whiteside (illness) posted 15 points (7-9 FG, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, and three blocks in 30 minutes Wednesday against the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside had his eleventh straight game posting at least three blocks, and it's apparent he's the new elite blocker in the league this season. He was shaky heading into Wednesday's game, but his illness apparently didn't prevent him from contributing heavily. His two major flaws are his inability to hit free-throws, as well as his propensity to get hurt -- but this season he has yet to miss a game, so owners can keep expecting this production as long as he's playing.

Whiteside (illness) went through shootaround and said he expects to play Wednesday in Detroit, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside came down with an illness Tuesday, but after making the trip north with the team, he said he's feeling much better Wednesday morning, so his availability does not appear to be in much jeopardy.

Whiteside (illness) traveled with the team to Detroit in advance of Wednesday's game, Shandel Richardson of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside was absent from practice Tuesday due to illness, and it was initially unknown whether he'd join the Heat for Wednesday's game. However, the Heat announced Whiteside did make the trip, which certainly bodes well for his status not only Wednesday, but also Friday when the Heat close out the road trip in New York. It's important to note that Whiteside's condition could deteriorate over the next 24 hours, so there's no guarantee he'll play, but the Heat should provide an update following Wednesday's morning shootaround.

Whiteside (illness) did not practice Tuesday and is considered questionable for Wednesday's meeting with the Pistons, Shandel Richardson of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside came down with an illness that's been making its way through the Heat's locker room, and as of Tuesday afternoon the team is yet to decide whether the center will travel with the team to Detroit. If he does not make the trip, Miami would likely resort to starting Udonis Haslem or Chris Andersen at center. Alternatively, coach Erik Spoelstra could shift Chris Bosh to center and insert a player like Josh McRoberts at power forward. Luol Deng (hamstring) is also considered questionable for Wednesday's game.

Whiteside registered a double-double in Monday's 95-78 win over the Knicks, scoring 11 points with 11 rebounds and five blocks in 34 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside is racking up blocks at an unreal rate, averaging 5.0 per game in the month of November. He's registered 27 blocks over the past four games and really isn't in any competition for minutes at center on Miami's roster, so he should have no trouble keep up these type of stat lines. Whiteside is never going to score many points, but certainly makes up for it with rebounds and blocks.
