Despite the team's misfortunes, Whiteside continues to put up big numbers on a nightly basis. He has been a first-round player over the course of the season and shows no signs of slowing down. The only downside is the fact that his fantasy game is extremely lopsided. Outside of rebounds, blocks and field-goal percentage, he is basically a negative contributor everywhere else.

Whiteside posted 18 points (8-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 19 rebounds, three assists and one block during Tuesday's 118-106 loss to the Celtics.

Whiteside continues to dominate the boards, and he's bumped up his average to 14.2 per game. Tuesday also marked just the third time in Whiteside's career that he's posted at least 18 points on 12 or fewer shots, plus 19 boards. After missing Friday's loss to the Jazz with a lower leg contusion, Whiteside was able to shake off the injury in time for a matchup with his former squad. Whiteside was able to do his typical damage in the defensive categories, but he also continued to trend downward with his free-throw shooting. The center is still converting at a career-best 71.7 percent clip from the line this season, though he's hit only 59.6 percent of his attempts over his last 12 outings.

Considering Whiteside was initially listed as probable for Sunday's matchup against the Heat, it does not come as much of a surprise that the big man will suit up.
