Mason signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the 76ers on Friday, Derek Bodner of The Athletic reports.

Mason was named the G League MVP last season after averaging 26.4 points and 5.0 assists per game with the Wisconsin Herd. He has three years of experience in the NBA, but it's unclear whether he'll see significant playing time with Philadelphia.

The Bucks rescinded Mason's qualifying offer Sunday, making him an unrestricted free agent, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.

A two-way player last season, Mason was one of the more productive guards in the G League in 2019-20, but he saw little action with a loaded Bucks squad. He'll wrap up his lone year in Milwaukee with averages of 6.9 points, 3.2 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 13.1 minutes per game over nine appearances at the NBA level. Milwaukee appears set to reserve its two two-way spots for guard Jaylen Adams and forward Mamadi Diakite.

Mason will be active for Monday's Game 1 against the Heat, Bucks radio voice Ted Davis reports.

With Eric Bledsoe (hamstring) set to sit out, Mason will move up to active duty and could serve as the third point guard behind starter George Hill and Donte DiVincenzo. Mason has been among the best players in the G League this season, but he's played sparingly at the NBA level, appearing in just nine games for Milwaukee during the regular season. His last action came back on Aug. 13 during a seeding-game matchup against the Grizzlies.

Mason just recorded a career-high 19 points against the Wizards on Tuesday, so he's closed out the regular season with a bang. The Bucks were once again without a number of their regulars, affording Mason additional playing time. He has the ability to put up numbers when given the opportunity, but Mason is typically restricted to a very minor role.

Mason finished with 19 points (7-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-7 FT), five boards, six assists and two steals in 22 minutes of a 126-113 win against the Wizards on Tuesday.

Mason scored a career-best 19 points in the contest as he saw an extended look with multiple Bucks regulars sitting out. Mason has only appeared in two games since the restart, as he's a depth option for Milwaukee, but he's shown he has the chops to compete when he does take the floor. With Milwaukee having the No. 1 seed wrapped up, Mason could see another healthy dose of minutes against Memphis on Thursday.

Mason had 11 points (4-9 FG, 0-3 3PT, 3-4 FT), four assists and two rebounds in Tuesday's loss to the Nets.

Mason wasn't active for the Bucks' first two seeding games, but he ended up seeing extensive minutes Tuesday as the Bucks fell to the undermanned Nets in shocking fashion. The former Kansas standout played much of the second half with the Bucks keeping a close eye on the workloads of Eric Bledsoe (18 minutes), Giannis Antetokounmpo (16) and Khris Middleton (16).

Mason (back) did not play in Friday's 119-112 win over the Celtics.
