Queen was one of the lone bright spots for the Pelicans in a blowout loss. He reached double digits in the scoring column after being held to nine points or fewer in three straight games, and he nabbed his first double-double since Jan. 16. Despite a solid night, consistent production has been tough to come by for the rookie, who has seen north of 20 minutes only five times in 13 March showings.

Queen contributed 14 points (2-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 9-9 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 19 minutes during Wednesday's 124-109 win over the Clippers.

Queen continues to play a reduced role off the bench, but he made the most of his minutes Wednesday. Over his last seven games, he's averaging 18.6 minutes with 7.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.6 three-pointers.

Queen amassed 13 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one block across 25 minutes during Sunday's 138-118 win over Washington.

EDGE Analysis

Queen has been a volatile fantasy asset lately, but Sunday's game was a step in the right direction. Over his last eight outings, the rookie has seen 21.1 minutes per contest with 9.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 0.8 blocks on 39.7 percent shooting from the field.

Queen totaled 19 points (6-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 29 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 137-117 loss to the Clippers.

EDGE Analysis

The Pelicans' top two scorers on the night both came from the second unit, as Jeremiah Fears paced the team with a career-high 28 points. Queen hadn't scored more than eight points in any of the prior three games since shifting back to the bench, while DeAndre Jordan has done little since joining the starting five. Even with the Pelicans in full tank mode, it's not clear how long that arrangement might last.

Queen won't start against the Warriors on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

With Dejounte Murray starting in his return from a torn Achilles, the Pelicans will keep DeAndre Jordan in the starting five and deploy Queen off the bench for the first time since Nov. 14. The rookie first-rounder has averaged 12.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.2 combined steals-plus-blocks while shooting 56.4 percent from the field in 27.1 minutes per game across seven February appearances.

Queen registered 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals across 28 minutes during Friday's 139-118 loss to Milwaukee.

EDGE Analysis

The rookie center just missed recording his 11th double-double of the season, and Queen's five combined steals-plus-blocks was his highest total since the calendar flipped to 2026 -- he racked up five blocks and two steals against the Bulls on New Year's Eve. Queen is still prone to some inconsistency, but over the last eight games he's flashed an impressive collection of skills, averaging 13.5 points, 6.6 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.1 blocks and 0.9 threes while shooting 57.1 percent from the floor and 63.6 percent (7-for-11) from long distance during that span.

Queen notched eight points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 24 minutes during Monday's 120-94 win over the Kings.

EDGE Analysis

With the Pelicans buried in the standings, the rookie first-rounder looks to be cemented as the team's top center from here on out. Queen has been prone to the occasional dud, but he's shown plenty of potential across the board in 2025-26. Over his last eight outings, Queen has averaged 11.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.9 blocks in 25.7 minutes per game.

Queen accumulated 16 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals over 31 minutes during Monday's 102-95 loss to Charlotte.

EDGE Analysis

This was a terrific showing for the rookie as he continues to be a bright spot for the club. Although the Pelicans do not have their first-round pick this season, the team may end up being sellers at the trade deadline. If they unload a player or two, Queen could potentially see a bump in usage.

Queen posted 22 points (8-12 FG, 6-7 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and two blocks over 34 minutes during Friday's 114-106 victory over the Grizzlies.

EDGE Analysis

Queen snapped a four-game, single-digit scoring streak in Friday's win, and he did a much better job of asserting himself in the offense and taking advantage of matchups whenever he had a smaller defender on him. The Pelicans have now won three of their past four games, and they'll look to keep the good times rolling Saturday in Philadelphia.

It was one of Queen's worst performances of his rookie season, and he was soundly outplayed by Yves Missi. Queen's starting role appears to be safe for now, but he certainly has some competition. Over his last appearances, Queen has averaged 8.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 23.0 minutes per contest.
