Queen continues to put up excellent numbers, and he's been one of the best rookies in the 2025-26 campaign thus far. Queen now has two double-doubles and a triple-double over his last five outings, showing his outstanding ability to fill the stat sheet and giving him a strong floor every time he steps on the court. Queen has started every game for the Pelicans since Nov. 16. This was New Orleans' fourth consecutive win of the campaign.

Queen recorded his third double-double of the season as the Pelicans picked up an impressive comeback win over the Rockets. Queen is seemingly establishing himself as the face of the franchise, putting up 15.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.6 blocks per contest over his last five outings.

Even though Queen was unable to repeat the impressive triple-double he notched in the loss against the Spurs on Monday, he posted another impressive stat line. The rookie big man has been one of the best first-year players in the league this season and has established excellent chemistry with Jeremiah Fears. Queen moved to the starting lineup Nov. 16 and hasn't looked back, averaging 15.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks per game in 14 starts.

Queen produced 33 points (11-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 11-13 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and four blocks in 33 minutes during Monday's 135-132 loss to the Spurs.

Queen put together the best all-around showing of his NBA career and became the youngest player in franchise history to record a 25-point triple-double, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com. He set season highs in points and blocks, but it wasn't enough to steal a victory. The Maryland product is still striving for better game-to-game consistency through his first 25 NBA contests, though he's certainly shown promising flashes.

Queen totaled 21 points (8-15 FG, 5-8 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and one steal across 39 minutes during Tuesday's 149-142 overtime loss to the Timberwolves.

Queen turned in his best performance in almost two weeks, logging a season-high 39 minutes in the process. With Zion Williamson set to miss an extended period due to an adductor injury, Queen's spot in the rotation just became a little clearer. As we have seen in recent times, there will be some wild shifts in production, something managers will have to brace for.

While Queen did not have a great night from the field, he still put up 15 points and effectively continued his impressive rookie campaign. In his last seven appearances, Queen is averaging 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.7 blocks across 25.4 minutes, and has effectively cemented himself as a cornerstone within the Pelicans' starting lineup.

Queen has been generating a lot of positive headlines in New Orleans as a bright spot in an otherwise tough season. Unless this becomes a trend, Queen's fantasy managers can treat this game as an outlier, with the Pelicans likely trying to better match up with Chicago's small-ball lineups.

The rookie big man has been one of the best first-year players this season, but he seems to have taken his game to another level of late. In his last three starts, Queen has averaged 23.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game while shooting 53.0 percent from the floor.

Queen popped off for 20 points (8-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and four turnovers in 32 minutes during Friday's 118-115 loss to the Mavs.

EDGE Analysis

Queen did an excellent job of running the offense in this one, racking up seven dimes in his first seven minutes of play, and the seven-assist first quarter accounted for the most assists by any rookie in a quarter this season. He also joined Darren Collison, Chris Paul and Nickeil Alexander-Walker as the only other rookies in New Orleans' franchise history to record at least seven assists in a single quarter.
