Fox posted 19 points (7-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists and three steals across 30 minutes in Monday's 117-115 loss to the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie once again outperformed veteran George Hill, who continues to hold down the starting point guard role for the moment. However, that designation takes on much less importance when considering that Fox saw five more minutes than Hill anyhow. Fox has now scored in double digits in three of his first four games while shooting a solid 45.6 percent from the field, including 40.0 percent from three-point range.

Fox scored 18 points (8-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) while adding five rebounds and an assist in 29 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 96-79 loss to the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
The Kings shot just 36.5 percent from the field on the night and the game got away from them in the second and third quarters, resulting in Fox leading the team in both minutes and scoring as the starting five mostly sat on the bench in the fourth. The fifth overall pick in this year's draft is enjoying a strong start to his first NBA campaign, and as long as Fox avoids hitting the rookie wall and keeps seeing plenty of court time, he should have intriguing fantasy potential.

Fox tallied nine points (4-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt), 10 assists, six rebounds and one steal across 26 minutes during Friday's 93-88 win over the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
Fox has flashed his potential during the first two games of the season, totaling 23 points and 15 assists across 50 minutes. There were questions surrounding what his workload may be considering the team signed George Hill, a starting-caliber guard, in the offseason. But, as long as Fox can continue getting sixth-man minutes, he should be fantasy relevant.

Fox posted 14 points (7-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt), five assists and four rebounds across 24 minutes in Wednesday's 105-100 loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
The 2017 fifth overall pick didn't let a second-team assignment for the opener stop him from outscoring a couple of members of the starting five and making a splash in his regular-season pro debut. Fox yielded the start at point guard to veteran George Hill on Wednesday, and although that arrangement may prove to be the status quo for the time being, the rookie could well vault into the top spot in due time, especially if he's able to churn out stat lines the caliber of Wednesday's on a consistent basis off the bench.

Fox will come off the bench for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Rockets, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fox was expected to battle George Hill for rights to the starting point guard job, but coach Dave Joerger has opted to go with his veteran for now. Fox will likely see more and more minutes as the season moves forward, especially if the Kings struggle early on, though for now, Hill's presence severely hurts the rookie's promising upside as a fantasy prospect.

Fox (back) was a full participant in Sunday's practice, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fox missed the last few games of the preseason while nursing a bruised lower back, but he was never considered to be in danger of missing any regular season action. His availability for a full practice Sunday indicates he should be good to go for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Rockets, though continue to monitor his status up until tip-off just to be safe. The fifth overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft should have a sizable role right away, though the presence of George Hill certainly hurts his upside and he could cut into Fox's playing time during the early portion of the season.

Fox (back) has been ruled out for Friday's preseason finale against the Warriors, Jason Jones of The Sacramento Bee reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fox continues to deal with a lower back contusion and will miss his second straight game as a result. It appears as though this is all precautionary, however, as there has been no indication that Fox will miss any time to start the regular season, but he'll continue to be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.

Fox (back) has been ruled out for Thursday's preseason matchup against the Clippers, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Kings end the preseason with a back-to-back matchup on Thursday and Friday, so Fox will be held out at least one of the games to avoid excessive strain on his bruised back. He's considered day-to-day and it's still unclear if he'll be given the green light to play in Friday's finale. That being said, Fox doesn't appear to be in danger of missing any regular season action.

Fox (back) is listed as questionable for Thursday's preseason matchup against the Clippers, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
After suffering a lower back injury over the weekend, Fox went on to miss Monday's exhibition and is now in danger of sitting out a second straight contest. He'll attempt to go through practice Wednesday, though whether or not Fox will be a full participant, remains unclear at this point in time. Consider him questionable for Thursday and another update should be provided following the team's morning shootaround.

Fox (back) has been ruled out for Monday's preseason matchup with the Trail Blazers, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
After suffering a back injury during Sunday's exhibition against the Lakers, Fox underwent a precautionary X-ray, which came back negative. He's officially avoided anything serious and his injury is being listed as just a lower back bruise. That being said, the Kings will remain cautious with their first-round pick and he'll be held out of Monday's preseason contest. With a back-to-back set scheduled for Thursday and Friday, it wouldn't be surprising if Fox ultimately sat out at least one of those games as well.
