Fox (ankle) was able to go through parts of practice Tuesday, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. "He did more [Tuesday] than he's done any day prior," Kings coach Luke Walton said of Fox. "He looked good. He was getting up and down. We're still not doing any contact, but he definitely is making some good progress."
EDGE Analysis
While the point guard has yet to be fully cleared, Fox's left ankle continues to improve since he initially sprained it on July 15. He was able to go through conditioning and non-contact drills Tuesday, so Fox appears well on his way to returning to full strength before the Kings play their first seeding game July 31 against the Spurs.

Fox suffered a left ankle sprain at practice Wednesday and will be reevaluated in 7-to-10 days, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Kings have just over two weeks until the July 31 matchup with the Spurs, so the 22-year-old will be sidelined for a good chunk of the remaining prep time for the NBA restart. The severity of the injury remains unclear, and Fox's availability will be up in the air until he's reevaluated. Cory Joseph and Yogi Ferrell could see more run at the point if Fox is forced to miss any game action.

Fox's game Wednesday between Sacramento and New Orleans has been postponed, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The NBA announced earlier in the evening the season would be suspended after a player tested positive for coronavirus, though the game in Sacramento was originally expected to be played as previously scheduled. Instead, the game won't be played since one of the scheduled officials reffed a game with the infected player earlier this week.

Fox went for 28 points (8-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 10-10 FT) to go with four rebounds and four assists across 31 minutes Sunday in the Kings' 118-113 loss to the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
Fox looks to have fully recovered from the abdominal injury that forced him to miss a game in late February and had his status in question for several other contests. He's cleared 30 minutes in five of his last six outings, averaging 24.0 points and 5.8 assists over that stretch while hitting an even 50 percent of his attempts from the field and 90.7 percent of his free-throw attempts. Fox will benefit from some added rest with the Kings off the schedule until Wednesday against the Pelicans, but with Sacramento set to play only two games this week, there may be better lineup options for category leagues.

Fox produced 14 points (3-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 11 assists, five rebounds and two steals across 28 minutes in Saturday's 123-111 win over the Trail Blazers.
EDGE Analysis
Although Fox struggled with his shot in the victory, he was effective in getting the ball to all of his playmakers as they tied a single-game record for three-pointers in the contest. Fox is on an excellent five-game run, averaging 23.2 points, 6.2 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals over that span.

Fox managed 23 points (9-17 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block in 36 minutes during Thursday's 125-108 loss to the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Fox continues to battle his way through an abdominal injury, something that has plagued him for the better part of a week. Despite the apparent discomfort, Fox led the Kings in scoring and assists. The Kings are now four games adrift of the Grizzlies in the battle for the eighth seed; should they fall any further behind, a lingering injury could become more of an issue.

Fox (abdomen) is in the starting lineup for Thursday's contest against Philadelphia, Jason Jones of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's reported that Fox is nursing minor right abdominal tightness, but the injury won't be enough to keep him off the court. The former Kentucky standout is currently dropping 20.4 points, 6.7 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 42 outings this season.

Fox is probable for Thursday's game versus the Sixers with right abdominal tightness.
EDGE Analysis
Fox missed the Feb. 27 contest against the Thunder with the abdominal issue but played through it for the last three games, and he appears set to do so again Thursday. The 22-year-old hasn't slowed down his production in that stretch, as he's averaging 26.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 32.3 minutes.

Fox (abdomen) produced 31 points (12-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, three steals and one assist in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 133-126 victory over the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Fox continues to battle an abdomen injury but played through to finish with a team-high 31 points. It was the first time he has eclipsed the 30-point mark since early February, something that has to please those who have him on their fantasy roster. The lack of assists was a curious oddity but something that is likely an outlier. As long as he can remain healthy, Fox should be a strong contributor the rest of the way.

Fox (abdomen) has been cleared for Tuesday's game against the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Fox will play in Tuesday's contest. He played through the injury in Sunday's victory over the Pistons and logged 32 minutes. Look for him to take on his usual workload assuming he avoids any setbacks.
