With a lengthy All-Star break approaching, Collison will have plenty of time to rest, and he figures to have a good chance to be ready to return when the Kings resume play on Feb. 20.

Collison's MRI on his abdomen revealed a strain in his hip flexor and he's now considered doubtful for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.
Collison should be considered day-to-day moving forward while Ramon Sessions likely picks up extra minutes in Collison's potential absence. If Collison is ultimately ruled out Saturday, the next game for him to get back on the court will be against the Suns on Sunday.

Collison will miss the remainder of Thursday's game against the Mavericks with an abdominal strain, Eddie Sefko of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Collison's injury likely happened at some point in the second quarter, as he will not come out for the second half. He finishes the night with six points, an assist and three turnovers in 14 minutes, and will undergo an MRI Friday that should provide more info on the situation.

Collison played 36 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Warriors, finishing with 18 points (8-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, seven assists and a steal.
Collison continues to be a decent source of points and assists, as he has gone a combined 17-for-30 from the field and 4-for-10 from the three-point line to score 41 points, along with 12 assists over his last two games. He looks to be hitting his groove, so look for him to have this type of production moving forward, although he does have a tough matchup against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.

Collison had 23 points (9-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT) with five rebounds and five assists in 40 minutes in the win over the Pacers on Saturday.
Collison had been putting up decent but hardly heart-pounding numbers. In his four previous games, he had not eclipsed 16 points and five assists. He is getting regular minutes and is putting up numbers that would be relevant in a deep league.

Collison scored 24 points (9-19 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with one rebound, seven assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Kings.
Collison has been one of the value picks of the season. He is averaging career highs in points, assists, steals and three-pointers. His efficiency is also excellent for a point guard. His production should be sustainable for the remainder of the season.

Collison missed just one shot for the day, yielding a season-high in scoring and has been a complete surprise with his output this season. Collison has also had at least two steals in six straight games and is a having a career year in his first in Sacramento.
