Darrell Arthur (neck, back) does not expect to play during the upcoming week, and he will not rush back from his injury.
Arthur is "progressing," but he wants to return at full strength. "Hopefully, I can get back after this trip," he said. While Arthur is out, Ed Davis will be tasked to do a little more, but Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph will carry the heavy load.

Updating a previous item, Darrell Arthur did not practice on Monday.
Arthur is expected to return no later than Wednesday, but he's still reportedly "moving gingerly," so it's not certain he'll be ready to return. Without him, Ed Davis will be asked to play an increased role.

Darrell Arthur (neck, back) is expected to return no later than Wednesday.
The Grizzlies are getting healthier with Zach Randolph (ankle) also expected back by Wednesday, meaning that Ed Davis and Jon Leuer will be shifted back down toward the end of the bench.

Darrell Arthur (neck, back) will not play in Saturday's game vs. the Hornets.
Zach Randolph (ankle) is also sidelined, which leaves Ed Davis to play heavy minutes as the starting PF. Arthur remains day-to-day.

Darrell Arthur (neck, back) will not play on Friday.
Arthur didn't play on Wednesday, either. Although he stayed in the game following a big fall to the ground when he was initially injured, he hasn't played since coming out of that game. With Zach Randolph (ankle) questionable, Ed Davis and Jon Leuer could be manning power forward duties again on Friday.

Darrell Arthur (neck, back) said he will not play in Wednesday's game against the Blazers.
It's bad timing for Arthur as he had a chance for some serious burn with Zach Randolph (ankle) sidelined. Instead, it's finally Ed Davis' time to shine in Memphis.

Darrell Arthur (neck, back) is questionable to play on Wednesday.
Arthur took a hard fall during Sunday's game, which left him stiff and sore, but thankfully he avoided a concussion. He would likely start at PF on Wednesday if he's healthy and Zach Randoph (ankle) isn't able to return, but there are too many variables to rely on him in 12-team leagues.

Darrell Arthur made a rare start at PF on Sunday, but he finished with only seven points and two rebounds in nine minutes of action.
The Grizzlies blew past the Magic despite playing without Zach Randolph (ankle), whose day-to-day status makes Arthur an even riskier pickup heading into a three-game week. Owners willing to gamble for a quick boost should target Ed Davis, who came off the bench for 10 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.

Darrell Arthur will start at power forward in place of the injured Zach Randolph on Sunday.
It will be his first start of the year and Arthur does have a 20-point game to his credit this year. It will be tough to project how he'll do and the Grizzlies could give Ed Davis more minutes than Arthur. Both players are only worth looks in deeper leagues.

Darrell Arthur scored six points with five boards and one block in 20 minutes against the Nets on Friday.
Arthur had an eye-catching showing on Wednesday with 20 points, but it's going to be tough for him to have enough minutes go his way while Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph are healthy. On the other hand, there isn't much depth behind him, so he's worth a look in deeper formats.
