Chris Wilcox (thumb) could return for Wednesday's game against the Hornets. Wilcox is still wearing a protective cast on the joint of his thumb, but even if he's ready to play, he's going to have a tough time cracking the rotation with Jared Sullinger, Brandon Bass and Jason Collins playing well.

Chris Wilcox (thumb) will be in uniform on Monday but he is not expected to play. The Celtics have won five straight games with Jared Sullinger playing a bigger role off the bench, and Wilcox will be eased into the rotation whenever he's healthy enough to play.

Chris Wilcox (thumb) returned to practice on Sunday, as expected. Wilcox has a sprained UCL in his right thumb and he had the finger wrapped up during practice, but it sounds like he's on pace to return this week. It's good news for the Celtics' bench but doesn't have fantasy implications.

Chris Wilcox (thumb) has been taking shots while wearing a wrist brace and hopes to practice Sunday. There is still no definitive timetable for his return and he remains a non-factor for fantasy purposes.

Chris Wilcox (thumb) is ahead of schedule and will attempt to practice on Thursday. Wilcox was looking to return to practice on Sunday, so he's a few days ahead of schedule. When he does return, it will be to an uncertain role and no fantasy value.

Chris Wilcox (thumb) said that he expects to return to practice on Sunday. He has been dealing with a sore right thumb, specifically to his ulnar collateral ligament. Wilcox has almost no fantasy value even once he comes back from the injury.

Chris Wilcox (thumb) has no timetable to return after meeting with doctors. Wilcox is "progressing according to schedule," but he'll return to an uncertain role and have no fantasy value when he is healthy.

Chris Wilcox (thumb) will see a doctor on Tuesday to determine his timetable. Wilcox is being called out indefinitely for now, and while he won't need surgery, he's not expected to return in the near future. Upon first sustaining the injury, he couldn't even palm a basketball, so it's not an ordinary thumb sprain.

Chris Wilcox (right thumb) doesn't need surgery but doesn't have a timetable for when he might return to the lineup. Wilcox was originally slated to miss 3-4 weeks as of Dec. 23, so it'll be at least another two weeks before we get a better idea of his return. However, before getting hurt Wilcox had lost his rotation spot and whatever fantasy value he had before then.
