Boucher's playing time remains highly volatile from game to game, but he's at least regained a foothold in the rotation under head coach Nick Nurse after he appeared to be on his way out of the Raptors' second unit in late December. The 30-year-old is typically a strong statistical performer on a per-minute basis, and even if upside isn't especially high while Toronto has all its key frontcourt pieces available, Boucher could still make for a strong short-term streaming option with the Raptors set to begin a five-game week Monday in New York against the Knicks.

Boucher posted double-doubles off the bench in his last two appearances, but he was held in check while playing just 13 minutes during Wednesday's victory. While it was encouraging to see the 29-year-old's upside recently, his performance against the Knicks was a reminder that he's still a somewhat inconsistent fantasy option.

Boucher posted 13 points (4-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 30 minutes off the bench during Monday's 104-101 overtime loss to Philadelphia.

EDGE Analysis

It's the second straight double-double and sixth of the season for the streaky forward, who continues to see a bigger role in the absence of Precious Achiuwa (ankle). Boucher has scored in double digits in five of the last seven games, averaging 10.4 points, 6.6 boards, 0.7 threes, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks in 23.3 minutes a night over that stretch.

Boucher closed with 11 points (4-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and 14 rebounds across 25 minutes during Sunday's 126-110 loss to Golden State.

EDGE Analysis

Boucher needed only 25 minutes to record a double-double, and he once again outplayed the starting center, Christian Koloko, despite coming off the bench. Boucher fits better as one of the go-to players in the second unit and is not expected to crack the starting five any time soon, but that doesn't mean he's not an asset in fantasy. He's averaging 8.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 0.8 blocks across 20.7 minutes per game in December.

Boucher finished Friday's 113-109 loss to the Magic with 10 points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and two blocks over 22 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Boucher blocked two shots in the loss but once again failed to deliver when it comes to all-around value. After a short period when he became a must-add player, his role has reverted to what we saw earlier in the season. Despite a somewhat fantasy-friendly repertoire, Boucher should be viewed as just a streamer, at least while the team is fully healthy.

EDGE Analysis

Boucher logged just 18 minutes in the win, continuing his downward trend. After a few games in which he was able to crash the 12-team fantasy scene, he has seen his role revert back to what we saw to open the season. While we know what he can do when afforded additional playing time, he is a tough player to hold right now. Keep an eye on the injury situation moving forward and should an opportunity arise once again, Boucher would be worth swooping on.

Boucher ended with 22 points (10-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-5 FT), 13 rebounds and one steal in 36 minutes during Saturday's 105-100 victory over the Mavericks.

EDGE Analysis

Boucher reached the 20-point mark for just the third time this season on Saturday, connecting on a season-high 10-of-19 field goal attempts as Toronto kept Dallas at bay down the stretch. Ten of Boucher's 22 points came in the first quarter on 5-of-8 shooting from the field, as did six of his game-high 13 rebounds. The Raptors forward played a huge role off the bench and has now recorded a double-double in three straight contests.

Boucher chipped in 12 points (2-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 16 rebounds, one block and one steal over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 112-98 loss to Brooklyn.

EDGE Analysis

Boucher was a monster on the glass and while he posted another double-double, his second in a row and third over his last five appearances, he had an awful showing in terms of shooting since he needed 15 shots and eight trips to the charity stripe to score only 12 points. Regardless of the lack of efficiency, Boucher is leaving his slow start to the season in the rearview mirror and has averaged 17.2 points with 9.8 rebounds off the bench across his last five outings.

Boucher (illness) is off the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Nets.

EDGE Analysis

After one missed game, Boucher will be back Wednesday. He's played well over his past four appearances, averaging 18.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 28.8 minutes. He should continue seeing elevated usage for as long as Pascal Siakam (adductor) and Precious Achiuwa (ankle) remain out.
