Coach Nick Nurse said Wednesday that he hopes Boucher (hamstring) will be able to return for the Raptors' regular-season opener against the Cavaliers on Oct. 19, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher missed Sunday's exhibition matchup against the Bulls due to his left hamstring strain and will be unavailable for Friday's preseason finale against Boston. While Nurse acknowledged that Boucher's status to begin the year is somewhat uncertain, the 29-year-old is at least in the mix for the regular-season opener.

Boucher has been ruled out for Sunday's preseason game against the Bulls due to a left hamstring strain, Eric Smith of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
The extent of Boucher's injury remains unclear, but he'll have just one more opportunity to play in the preseason before the Raptors open the regular season against Cavaliers on Oct. 19. The talented big man signed a three-year, $35 million deal with Toronto this offseason and is expected to see a sizable role off the bench if he's available to begin the 2022-23 campaign.

Boucher had 11 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block across 14 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 114-82 win over the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher led the Raptors in scoring in this preseason debut and was the only player who ended with a double-double. He signed a three-year, $35 million contract in the offseason and should continue to see roughly 20 minutes per game off the bench as an option at both power forward and center.

Boucher and the Raptors agreed Thursday to a three-year, $35.25 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher had a bit of a down year last season compared to his 2020-21 campaign, but he's still shown promise as a three-and-D big. Over the past two campaigns, he's averaged 11.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks while hitting 1.1 threes at 34.1 percent across 22.5 minutes. The 29-year-old will presumably continue playing a similar role.

Boucher amassed 25 points (7-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 9-10 FT), 10 rebounds and one block over 32 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 132-97 loss to Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
He led the Raptors in scoring, but the team's defense let them down as they bowed out of the postseason. The double-double was Boucher's only one in six playoff games this year, and he averaged 11.2 points, 5.8 boards, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 threes in 21.7 minutes against Philadelphia, albeit while shooting an impressive 61.9 percent from the floor. Boucher is an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.

Boucher contributed 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-3 3PT), eight rebounds and two blocks in Monday's 112-97 loss to Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
After averaging 10.9 points per game on 41.6 shooting from the field over his last 10 contests, Boucher was extremely efficient off the bench on both sides of the ball. The Oregon product saw his playtime double from Game 1 as rookie forward Scottie Barnes (ankle) was ruled out of Game 2.

Boucher closed Sunday's 105-94 loss to the Knicks with 21 points (6-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 32 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher came off the bench in the regular-season finale but had a bigger role due to the fact that most starters were rested. He logged more than 30 minutes for the first time since late March and responded with his third-best scoring output of the campaign. Pascal Siakam should be back in the lineup for the postseason series against the 76ers, but Boucher should still be an option off the bench even if his fantasy upside isn't very high.

Boucher finished Tuesday's 118-108 win over the Hawks with 18 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and one steal over 22 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher's 18 points were his most since March 21 and his first double-digit outing since March 26. His workload has been in flux all season, and that's still the case down the stretch. He's a risky fantasy option on a game-to-game basis but his numbers often pan out well over the course of a week. Since the beginning of March, he's averaging 10.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.5 combined steals-plus-blocks in 23.6 minutes.

Boucher closed Saturday's 131-91 win over the Pacers with 15 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and 10 rebounds across 30 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher scored in double figures for a fourth straight game and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds en route to his third double-double over his past four games. Across 14 appearances (one start) in March, the talented big man has averaged 11.2 points and 8.0 rebounds in 25.0 minutes per game. Khem Birch continues to draw starts at center for the Raptors, but Boucher and Precious Achiuwa have been more productive fantasy options off the bench.

Boucher totaled 17 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds and three steals in 33 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 117-104 win over the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old big just missed recording his third straight double-double, but Boucher made up for it by scoring in double digits for the fifth time in the last seven games. His court time remains occasionally frustrating in Nick Nurse's fickle rotation, but over the last 10 games, Boucher is averaging a useful 12.2 points, 7.7 boards, 1.1 threes, 1.0 steals and 0.9 blocks.
