Boucher has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against the Knicks after suffering a left thigh bruise in the second half, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher was in a funk prior to exiting the contest, missing all four of his three-point attempts and struggling inside against a shorthanded Knicks frontcourt. Precious Achiuwa will step up in his absence, while Jalen McDaniels could also be re-introduced to the rotation.

Boucher closed Friday's 121-108 win over the Bulls with four points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one steal in 10 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher has been limited to 10 minutes in two straight games and is trending down in fantasy basketball. Starting center Jakob Poeltl has been on fire for the Raptors, and Precious Achiuwa has been getting the bulk of the frontcourt minutes for the second unit.

Boucher accumulated nine points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds and one block across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 128-112 loss to Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher was one rebound and one point shy of notching his first double-double of the season Wednesday. Boucher continues to be one of Toronto's first options off the bench in the frontcourt. The 30-year-old forward is averaging 7.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 16.6 minutes across nine games so far in 2023-24.

Boucher accumulated six points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 13 minutes during Wednesday's 130-111 win over the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher has seen his playing time decrease from 20.0 minutes per game in 2022-23 to averaging 14.8 minutes across his first four appearances this season. He has also yet to make a three-pointer after making 0.8 per contest last season.

Boucher will return to the bench for Friday's preseason game against the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
This is an expected move with Jakob Poeltl healthy again. Boucher has played well in the preseason for the most part, and it's likely that he has earned a rotation spot.

Boucher recorded three points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 13 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 106-102 preseason win over the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher continues to draw starts with Jakob Poeltl (illness) sidelined, a sign that he's slated to be the top frontcourt reserve during the regular season. Boucher showed off his defensive prowess in his limited action but was also a little too aggressive at times. Boucher has an extremely unique skill set, but it remains to be seen if he can handle more than 20 minutes per game and still be effective.

Boucher will start Sunday's exhibition versus the Cairns Taipans of the Australian NBL, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Jakob Poeltl (illness), Precious Achiuwa (groin) and Christian Koloko (illness) all sidelined, Boucher will make a spot start during preseason action. Boucher averaged 9.4 points and 5.5 rebounds across 76 appearances last year and should see a similar reserve role in 2023-24.

Boucher produced 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3PT, 0-2 FT), six rebounds and one block across 21 minutes of Sunday's 112-99 preseason win against the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Precious Achiuwa (groin) sat this game out, so Boucher was the primary big man off the bench. Boucher is coming off a down season in 2022-23, but with a new head coach in Toronto -- Darko Rajakovic, Boucher has a clean slate to prove his worth.

Boucher recorded eight points (4-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds and two blocks over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 106-92 win over Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher played at least 22 minutes for the fourth consecutive game, a period in which he has been able to flirt with top-100 value. Jakob Poeltl was in early foul trouble, affording Boucher some extra run at the center position, something that managers shouldn't expect to see all too often. While he can be used as a short-term option, even in standard leagues, Boucher should not be viewed as a must-roster asset.

Boucher racked up 19 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 29 minutes during Friday's 118-97 win over the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
Boucher played in excess of 25 minutes for the second straight game, taking advantage of the fact the game was a blowout. The Raptors were also without a couple of key pieces, affording Boucher an enlarged role. While he has been a disappointment for much of the season, Boucher is worth a look as long as the team is down on troops.
