Caboclo only logged 18 total minutes across the Grizzlies' first five games, but he received his most meaningful run in the rotation of the season Monday with Jaren Jackson (knee) out. The Grizzlies are viewing Jackson's injury as a day-to-day concern for now, so Caboclo could find himself back on the outside of the rotation as soon as Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.

Caboclo (coach's decision) didn't see the court Sunday in the Grizzlies' 134-133 overtime win over the Nets.

Caboclo looked like he had a chance at winning a rotation spot coming out of the preseason, but after playing five minutes in the Oct. 23 opener, the Brazilian big man has failed to leave the bench in either of the last two contests. The 24-year-old probably won't see his playing time outlook improve in the near future, as starting center Jonas Valanciunas played 20 minutes Sunday and should settle around 30 within the next few games once the Grizzlies lift his restriction.

Caboclo finished with 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), nine rebounds, three blocks and an assist in Sunday's exhibition win over Maccabi Haifa.

The sixth-year forward led the Grizzlies in plus-minus, recording a plus-24 and nearing a double-double in 28 minutes of play. Caboclo had a solid season for Memphis a year ago, finishing with averages of 8.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 block in 23.5 minutes per game, while shooting 42.7 percent from the field, 36.9 percent from three and 84.0 percent from the line. While it's unclear what role Caboclo can expect to see in 2019-20, his slow but steady improvement and strong defensive presence could make him an intriguing piece if he's able to find minutes.

Caboclo posted 19 points (7-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, two steals, two blocked shots and an assist across 22 minutes in Saturday's 101-75 win over the Pacers in the Las Vegas Summer League.

Caboclo made his mark as a replacement for the injured Jaren Jackson in the final weeks of the season. While Saturday was an impressive outing for the Brazilian product, the acquisition of Jae Crowder and the return of Jackson don't bode well for him in terms of consistent playing time.

Caboclo will participate in summer league with the Grizzlies.

Caboclo will likely enter next season behind Jaren Jackson (thigh) on the depth chart at the four, but he could still win a significant role on a rebuilding Grizzlies squad if he continues his development.

Caboclo collected a career high rebounding total while delivering his third double-double across the last seven games. The 23-year-old forward continues to showcase his well-rounded skillset down the stretch this season, and he's likely to continue earning ample minutes across the final two matchups of 2018-19.
