Caboclo signed a contract Friday with French club Limoges CSP.
EDGE Analysis
After seven seasons in the NBA between four different franchises, Caboclo will move on to overseas basketball. The 25-year-old could never show the type of flashes that NBA teams needed to see to keep him around. It's possible he eventually makes his way back into the NBA, but he'll likely have to have significant success overseas.

Caboclo was waived by the Rockets on Wednesday night, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.
EDGE Analysis
After sending out James Harden and receiving three players back, including Victor Oladipo, the Rockets needed to open up a roster spot. That resulted in Caboclo being waived. He's played just 36 total minutes this season, totaling 17 points, 14 rebounds, two blocks and one assist. He's struggled to find a consistent role in the league and hasn't played more than 800 minutes in a season.

Caboclo registered 17 points (5-11 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three blocks, an assist and a steal across 26 minutes off the bench during Friday's 125-104 win over the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
All signs point toward Caboclo being a bench weapon for the Rockets this season, but this kind of production could result in an uptick of minutes if he's able to carry it onto the regular season. The fact that Caboclo paced Houston in points, rebounds and minutes played in this contest suggests he might be line for an extended look in the preseason, and a strong showing could result in a bigger-than-expected role once the regular season begins later this month.

Caboclo signed a contract with the Rockets on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Caboclo was traded from the Grizzlies to the Rockets last season, and he'll remain with Houston after averaging 3.5 points and 2.0 rebounds over 6.5 minutes per contest during eight games with the team. The terms of the deal aren't yet known, but Caboclo should continue to play a depth role for the Rockets during the upcoming season.

Caboclo began a 10-day period of self-isolation in his hotel room Saturday after inadvertently breaking quarantine at the Walt Disney World complex in Orlando, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Caboclo isn't believed to have developed any symptoms of COVID-19 after breaking quarantine, but he'll nonetheless have to go into isolation in compliance with the NBA's rules for the Orlando bubble. The timing of the quarantine breach will force Caboclo to miss out on some conditioning work, which could prompt the Rockets to hold him out when the team resumes its season July 31 versus the Mavericks. Even before the NBA's four-plus-month hiatus, Caboclo hadn't been a regular fixture in the Houston rotation, appearing in just five of the team's 10 games following the All-Star break and averaging just 5.6 minutes per contest.
