Bass signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Liaoning Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association, international writer David Pick reports.
EDGE Analysis
A 12-year NBA veteran, Bass has bounced around a bit of late, playing for three different teams in as many seasons. He spent the 2016-17 campaign with the Clippers, averaging 5.6 points and 2.4 rebounds across 11.1 minutes, which was his smallest workload overall since the 2009-10 season. After failing to receive much interest on the free agent market, Bass will head overseas to resume his playing career. He could attempt to latch on with an NBA team following the international season, though it's unclear how many suitors he'd have.

Bass totaled 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist over 12 minutes in Monday's 125-96 win over the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Bass made the most of his limited opportunity, tallying double-digit points for the first time since March 21 in the process. Bass hadn't seen more than eight minutes since that contest and had been left out of the rotation in five games over that span, so his playing time Monday is essentially an outlier. The 12-year veteran could see some playing time in Wednesday's regular-season finale versus the Kings if the game turns into a blowout , but a potential role in the postseason rotation would be hard to predict at this point.

Bass went for 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 FT), three rebounds, one steal and one block over 24 minutes in Thursday's 129-114 loss to the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
After being out of the rotation over the last three games -- and in five of the last seven overall -- Bass received plenty of run with the Clippers' starting frontcourt of DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin sitting for rest. The 12-year veteran responded with his second-highest scoring total of the season in what equaled his largest allotment of minutes on the campaign, but he's likely to go right back to a reduced or non-existent role as soon as Saturday night's tilt versus the Cavaliers.

Bass (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in a 116-102 win over the Celtics on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Bass hasn't appeared in three of the Clippers' last five games with coach Doc Rivers leaning primarily on DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin and Marreese Speights to handle the bulk of the minutes in the frontcourt. With averages of 5.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 11.6 minutes per game on the season, Bass should remain on the waiver wire in most leagues.

Bass (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in a 107-102 loss to the Celtics on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
With Blake Griffin having played in five straight games following his return from a knee procedure, there's been fewer minutes to go around in the frontcourt lately, and Bass now looks like he'll be at risk of falling out of the rotation some nights. Bass had only been averaging 7.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game in his four appearances prior to Sunday, so most fantasy owners were likely already ignoring him anyway.

Bass supplied 10 points (5-5 FG, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, four assists and a steal over 19 minutes in Thursday's 104-101 loss to the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran forward continues to be efficient in his modest bench role, and he notably outpaced fellow big man Mareese Speights in playing time on the night. Bass has back-to-back 10-point efforts and has been in double digits in the scoring column in four of seven January contests. While he's seeing only an average of 13.4 minutes in those games, Bass is averaging a season-high 7.0 points in the current month.

Bass went for 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and a steal over 18 minutes in Monday's 120-98 win over the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Bass received double-digit minutes for the third time in six January games, after having seen that allotment of playing time in seven of the last eight December contests. The veteran forward continues to produce if given the opportunity, as Monday's output represented his third double-digit scoring effort in those three games when he's received more than 10 minutes of run. Mareese Speights continues to slot ahead of him, however, and Blake Griffin's eventual return could push Bass even further down the rotation.

Bass contributed 18 points (7-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds and one block across 24 minutes during a 114-88 loss to the Thunder on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Bass scored a season-high 18 points in the loss, and also received a season-high 24 minutes as the team got destroyed by Oklahoma City. He has only reached double figures in scoring twice this season, and both of those games have come in the last week. Bass is seeing more minutes with Blake Griffin (knee) sidelined, and if he continues to be productive, he may see an increased role in the offense going forward.

Bass (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in Sunday's 111-102 loss to the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Since Sunday's game never really got out of hand, coach Doc Rivers wasn't able to find room in the rotation for Bass, who hasn't been a regular option off the bench this season. Bass has appeared in 12 of the Clippers' 22 games, averaging a meager 3.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in 8.8 minutes per contest.

Bass (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in Thursday's 114-106 win over the Trail Blazers.
EDGE Analysis
Starting center DeAndre Jordan played an abnormally low 28 minutes, but power forward Blake Griffin (37 minutes) benefited from a larger workload than normal while Marreese Speights (16 minutes) picked up the remaining playing time in the frontcourt, leaving no rotation spot open for Bass. Coach Doc Rivers' management of the bench minutes will likely be dictated by matchups in most games, so there could still be an opportunity for Bass to stake his claim to a regular rotation role as the season unfolds.
