Bennett (ankle) could return in two weeks. Coach Flip Saunders made the proclamation Saturday, but he was only hopeful of such a time line. Bennett has been sidelined since spraining his right ankle on Feb. 20 against the Suns. However, expect caution to be exercised with the 2013 No. 1 pick.

Bennett sprained his ankle during Friday's game against the Suns and will not be available for Monday's game against the Rockets as a result.Bennett started Friday's game but sprained his ankle with just nine minutes under his belt. He hasn't been given many breaks during his short career and this current spat with injury will stifle any momentum he had been accruing in Minnesota. His next opportunity to take the court will be against the Wizards on Wednesday.

Bennett suffered a bruise to his lower right leg and left the Friday's win over Phoenix after nine minutes. He had two points (1-4 FG) and four rebounds before leaving.Bennett's injury allowed Gorgui Dieng to get extra minutes. Even when he gets healthy, Bennett will likely cede minutes to the returning Kevin Garnett. His fantasy value will continue to be minimal.

Bennett will get the start at power forward Friday, the Star Tribune's Jerry Zgoda reports.Kevin Garnett will not make his debut with Minnesota until Wednesday, and it seems the coach Flip Saunders would like to keep his bench rotation in tact, with Gorgui Dieng backing up Nikola Pekovic. Even as a starter, Bennett carries a lot of risk in daily leagues, as he could see limited run, and the upside is relatively low.

Bennett returned to the court on Sunday for only 12 seconds, but it wasn't really enough time for him to do anything except pick up a foul. Bennett's been dealing with a knee injury and has been in and out of the lineup as a result. Until he returns to health and can carveout more minutes for himself, he should remain on waiver wires.

Bennett (knee) will be available against the Hawks on Sunday, the Star Tribune reports. Bennett may still be limited off the bench, but his injury isn't severe enough to simply make him inactive. He's currently averaging 17.0 minutes on the court over his past three games.

Bennett (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against Atlanta after missing Saturday's practice, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. It sounds like he could play, but this may limit his minutes off the bench.

Bennett recorded six points (2-7 FG, 2-4 FT) and two rebounds in 15 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Mavericks. Bennett has averaged just over 21 minutes during his last six games, so he saw fewer minutes in the loss Wednesday. This line is basically what you should expect from Bennett, as he's not worth much in terms of fantasy value. Unless his role changes and he gets more consistent minutes, he's only worth watching in the deeper leagues.
