Andrew Bynum played 14 minutes on Wednesday, finishing with four points, four rebounds and zero blocks on 2-of-7 shooting.
Are we having fun yet? It sounds like Bynum plans to keep playing and getting his body back in basketball shape, but if he can't run at full speed, it's going to be a long road back to fantasy relevance.

Andrew Bynum (knee) expects to play on both Wednesday and Friday, but he'll sit out Saturday's home game.
He'll get a boisterous reception in Philly on Friday, where the embittered fans will be shouting anything but 'brotherly love'. Bynum still has pain in his knees and his conditioning is nowhere near where it needs to be, so fantasy owners should look elsewhere for reliable production.

Andrew Bynum acknowledged he is experiencing "little, sharp pains" in both of his surgically prepared knees.
This is just about the last thing Bynum's fantasy owners want to hear as he added that he wasn't sure if his explosiveness would return. Bynumn did say that the pain is "nothing too bad" and that he's still working on his conditioning, but this is an ominous sign for a player who missed all of last season because of those same knees. While it's not time to panic and drop Bynum yet, this is a situation we'll be monitoring closely.

Andrew Bynum lasted 19 minutes against the Wolves on Monday, scoring 10 points on 2-of-6 shooting (6-of-6 FTs) with four rebounds and three blocks.
By almost all measurements this was a successful outing, but the momentum is somewhat chased by his admission that he won't get his explosion back. Skilled and tall, he should be able to put up some numbers if he can progress in his development, but in terms of ever being a dominant force again if he has doubts they just serve to double-down our own doubts. There's going to be some value here when he eventually can sustain 20-24 mpg, but whether or not he's worth occupying a roster spot is the relevant question.

Andrew Bynum will play against the Timberwolves on Monday night.
He's added his explosiveness hasn't come around yet and he'll have to get the job done with footwork. Bynum has been very slow at getting up and down the court and most of the time he gets the ball deep in the paint, but there have been a couple times in which he's had the ball facing the basket. He hasn't played more than 11 minutes in a game yet and he is unlikely to see much playing time tonight.

Andrew Bynum (knee) will not play on Saturday, as expected.
Back-to-back sets will be a risky proposition for Bynum going forward, and owners should routinely check his status before game-time. Anderson Varejao and Tristan Thompson gain the most in his absence, though Bynum has yet to play more than 11 minutes in a game.

Andrew Bynum played 11 minutes on Friday, scoring five points on 2-of-7 shooting with three rebounds and no steals or blocks.
Bynum has a ways to go and owners considering a stash will really want to weigh their options. While anything is possible, it could be weeks or months before he's effective in fantasy leagues and his durability is obviously a question mark. Chances are you can do more with your roster slot in standard formats. He is likely to miss Saturday's game and we're leaving him on the injury report.

Andrew Bynum (knee) is expected to play on Friday vs. the Bobcats and will likely sit on Saturday against the Pacers.
He only played eight minutes in his season debut and there shouldn't be much of an increase tonight. Bynum was able to take on contact in the post against Brook Lopez, so tonight's task against Bismack Biyombo isn't nearly as tall of an order. However, it'll still be a while before Bynum can be a consistent contributor in fantasy leagues. Tristan Thompson has looked great so far while Anderson Varejao should be a double-double threat.
